Joe, thought of you last night, my wife and I skied HV last night. It was -10 degrees when we left at 10Pm. Conditions were great for skiing but MAN IT WAS COLD!!!

ditto, My peep is 1/4" and it gives me a perfect view of the entire site, makes it easy to center the site with the glo in the dark ring around the site.

Got to go to the Niagara Frontier Chapter NWTF banquet tonight. It's at Lucarelli's on Abbott. Always a fun night, hope to win lots of loot. They have dinner tixs at the door $25.00 if any WNY's are bored and need a night out. Doors open @5:30.

ok, ordered coveralls on Tuesday night, received in mail on Friday pm. Fast ship no problems, seems like a good product and good company. No complaints, can't wait till next bow season to wear them.!! They got positive feedback from me.

Any one have any experience with Pine mountain archery? they sell on ebay. I just bought Scent blocker coveralls with ship $71.00, (highest bid) seems like a real good price and from what I read they are a good product. They have a web store and also have some good deals on trail cameras.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like the thought of intersection cameras at all, but..... if it stops the idiots who just slow down on "right on red" and constantly cut me off, I don't think it is all that bad.

I think you can hunt at night as the deer glow in the dark!lol -
for what it probably cost I would take it back until it was perfect. Hoyt is a good brand and should stand behind their products. You could always trade it in for an Elite!

I gave it a try, after the dehydrator I put it all on a cookie sheet in the oven @250 for 1/2 hour, turned it into bear bacon! put in a large baggie and put in fridge a couple of days later it softened up a little and turned out pretty good. don't think I would bother going through all that again.

just go through the unmanned ez pass lane. They get enough of our tax monies, why pay more just because you are pulling a little trailer.

you guys that leave your stands up all year really need to take a close look at the stands, They are made up of tube steel and water gets into the pipe and freezes. I have had the steel split open from the freeze action of water, threw that stand away, I didn't trust it with a big crack in the platform.

Went out and took down all my stands, put them in the garage for the off season. Now I just have to remember to go over them and make repairs, touch up paint etc. thinking of adding a foot rest to my stands w/o one already. I learned to love the footrest on long sits. I probably can bend up some conduit and camo tape or just paint it. Should work fine. we will see.

good luck Joe and have fun. I took up skiing when the kids were younger, it only took a couple of tries and I got it. Being a skater helps, it is similar motion. The newer shaped skis make turning much easier. My wife and I ski every Tuesday night at Holiday Valley it is a great resort and only 1 hr. door to door. Check out Cadillac Jacks after you are done, always a good time.

Santa heard how much my feet froze this year and brought me a pair of -80* Ranger rubber boots! these babies are super warm!
