  1. I actually paid a couple of hundred bucks higher. It does have a single wide on it, usable but not in great shape. I'll tell the story once we close.
  2. Been doing it for 7 years. Have the 5 year patch. I enjoy keeping the records.
  3. I'm cutting the corn tonight while you are on the thruway. lol Looks great enjoy the peace that surounds you.
  4. I would say so. Very well hung may I add…….meaning the trail camera! lol
  5. Absolutely nothing……..had cams out all summer if that counts.
  6. I have a large parcel that I hunt. We have taken many deer on it. All the other parcels around me are big, + 100 acres . There is a small 10 acre plot that borders me to the west. This small plot is a magnet to hold a few shooter bucks during the season. Thick with brush and pines, the does love to bed in it. If you were lucky to own this plot i would say10 acres is the magic number, All depends on the situation you hunt..
  7. Watch the video and feel they way i feel. This will be the first year in many I will not have many days to hunt. Exactly 4 days this year. A new business and responsibilities with my girls will narrow down the time. I will long for the frost filled mornings and the excitement of last light. The cruntch of leaves under foot either deer or man it still sounds good! We get together to celebrate the hunt but also to come together to enjoy all that God has given us. As a hunter I love deer and am always amazed when I see one. Good luck to all this season especially the youth hunters that carry on our tradition!!!! This video is wonderful!!! Fred Bear lives on in all of us! Time to put a few miles between you and all that noise in the world……. https://www.facebook.com/BearArchery/videos/vb.128593671687/10152999186876688/?type=2&theater

  9. Too hard to tell from the pict.
  10. Seen a buch of kills from the Catskills on a LI website. Some small bears though.
  11. You sound like my sister in law. She was canning all week. Tomatoes berries you name it. Good stuff right there.
  12. You referenced city folk twice. I'm city folk that owns a bunch of acres in Steuben county. We shoot our deer and I let the locals trap my property. You have an ax to grind but you picked the wrong place to do it. 1 and done (1 post and boot him from the site)
  13. One of the best posts ever on this site!
  14. Still remember my last HS hockey game, wish I had it back a 1000 times. Enjoy the football season!!!

  16. Just went to the bank to withdraw money to pay dog groomer. Had a 200 dollar check in my wallet and made the deposit…..forgot to get cash for the groomer! We are all in the same boat Zem!
  17. I know that fence, only one on L.I. lol LI deer size and age are deceiving. They are much older than they look. When checking in deer at the DEC station I'm always off by about 2 years. My brother shot a doe a couple of years ago that was 8-9 years old. You would of thought 3..Nice deer go get 'em!
  18. In my neighborhood there are many street signs named after fallen loved ones from 911. Each year that passes someone places a flower or flowers under the signs. God bless all of the loved ones lost……….

  20. Welcome! I hunt Steuben county also but don't know about any gun clubs. Good luck on your search.
