Nothing , I would have bought her a card yesterday but she went to the store with me and paid for what we bought , seemed kinda pointless . Living with me is like Valentines Day every day anyway !

I hope to make a run to Vermont for some Heady in April ! Here is my haligan bar opener, I bought a few for my men a few years ago . One of my guys makes beer, I gave him a nib Simmon Pure wall mount opener too.

Well now that he's gone, if any of you want to let me hunt their posted land and will show we where the deer are too just PM me. Oh if you could have a cold beer and warm meal ready at the end of the day , that would be nice.

I know a couple , one hunts the same farm as I do . I have had great experiences with them, when we had poacher problems they would change their hours to work nights. Took hair samples to,match dna that they may find on knives and saws of known poachers , set up,robo deer, just did a great job . We would meet up or just email each year to keep,each other informed on what's going on in the area. But they are short staffed and if they are going to,put in the effort they want to,make sure you'll press charges .

Than you really don't want to know what I've spent on knives and watches !But like I said I often buy them used for a few bucks. But I don't mind spending 2 or 3 hundred on a new pair once in awhile, they support American workers , and I can easily get 20 plus years out of a pair. Good deal in the long run I think. Than again woman also seem to compliment my shoes when I'm wearing good ones , that's nice too! That said right now I wearing camo Crocks........

Owned hot tubs for idk close to 20 years, it's got a fence on two,sides and the house on another, still the wind at these temps make it to uncomfortable for me. Then years ago when it hit minus ten out , the shell got some hairline cracks where the cover rests on it. Since it was a Hotsprings hot tub (best warranty in the Biz). They gave me a new one, but ever since I've been gun shy about exposing the warm parts to these super low temps . By warm parts I mean the tubs....

Its got by be about 85 where he's been laying all day. If a diaper would fit him, I doubt he'd go outside at all today !

As far as buying and wearing used shoes. I buy and wear used shoes from those used clothing places . I prefer Ameraican made quality shoes, but they run anywhere from $150 to 3 or 4 hundred for ones I like new . I've bought great condition Johnston+ Murphy, Alden , and Allen Edmonds for as low as $8 in those shops. It seems those pricing the shoes in these places have no idea what they're selling . You can pay $8 for a used $50 foreign made shoe or for a $400 hand made , recraftable Amercan made one.

It's hard to say from a post on line what I could be worth. Farm land around mine is going for close to 4k an acre , yet a half hour away my buddy picked up 60 acres for 1k an acre. It was oddly shaped with little road frontage , long and narrow and a steep slope , scrub land no use for farming or development = little value . Swamp = little value . Myself I have little to zero interest in any land that has wet lands ( swamp ) to,many epa horror stories , and little chance of increasing values . For 125 k you could fly around the country for the rest of your life hunting the best deer county in the U.S., you would be eating fine steaks and drinking beer while they gut and process your trophy . Heck if you were half way good at investing you could do it off the yearly return off 125k while maintaining the principal .

I remember when I first bought my MK 85 , boy I,practiced out to 150 yards, baseball sized groups off a rest,wow my slug gun will sit out for sure . That year I shot a buck from the ground at less than 30 yards . I don't think I killed one over 60 yards with it . Today I have no use for it .

It's just a saying , notice I closed by saying " stay safe" although it came out say. Which meant be careful with fireplaces and candles, stay safe use them safely . I don't want anyone to have a fire , but if they do I want to be the first though the door that's for sure . The sad fact is people who don't check their fireplaces or wood stoves, use candles improperly , drink, smoke crack, use kitchen stoves for heat and other bad choices are good for business , is just a saying . I've been to well over 20 some fatals, carried a number of dead folks out and managed too save a few as well . One New Years Eve due to the M.E. Being tied up we brought 3 dead burned up kids to,our fire house where I unloaded them onto the floor to await pick up from the M.E. So I think,I'm pretty sure I know the horror of fires enough not to wish them upon anyone. it's just a common saying in the fire service same as "It was a good fire". Now as we all know fires are bad, yet we call some a good fire , which simply means a couple rooms plus ripping, as opposed to a "ten cent fire". A small fire that caused little in damage. These saying have been around since Ben Franklin .

56, started hunting about 40 years ago. Now after peeing my name in the snow and posting it on Instagram a couple years ago, my wife asked if I was like 13...... Which mentally is correct I guess .

Working nights, not a good time to be playing with water.... We wear the same clothes ( bunker gear ) if it -9 or 90. Can't really layer up under it very much either. All part of the gig . For Paula....

Short answer no. Now there was/is a town out in Wayne county I believe that passed an ordinance or was trying to against wood boilers. Those outdoor sheds that contain the boiler and is used to heat the whole house. I remember a guy on the job who has one and was talking about it a few years back . The only issue here in the city of Rochester with wood fireplaces are that they are 100 plus years old and the outside house wall goes behind the fireplace and those old fireplaces crack and this leads to,the walls catching fire. I had one house fire a few weeks ago because of this, and one last night due to candles , good for business ! Say safe .
