Belo, I got my Glock 23 in the early 90's great gun . Today I carry a SW Shield in 9mm a lot, love that gun carry owb in a thumb break pancake. Hardly notice it much thinner then the 23 . I also carry a LCP often in my front pocket in a Pocket holster , now it's easy to carry, but the trade off is easy to carry means harder to shoot well. For holster carry that's easier than the 23 look at the Shield and the Karhs. For pocket the LCP and the like, just be aware that it's hard to grip well , not much for sights.but for bad breath distance it's fine. Im comfortable with it out to 15 yards or so I'm also a fan of .38 snubbies...

Buckheart thanks off pointing out that a TV show is fake.... Nobody would have known otherwise. What's next ? Fred Flintstones car never really tipped over when a big rack of dinosaur ribs were hung from its door??

I sent for a shirt that says," I heart yoga pants" the heart is upside down so it looks like a woman's bottom... Can't wait to wear it to the gym! I dropped a grand today, but 400 went onto my oldest kids car, funny she's going to Disney world with her BF in a couple weeks and Europe this Sumer ..... And I'm paying for car repairs.

Sorry if you are an adult with kids and earning 8 bucks an hour, I'd bet you have made some very bad choices at some point. My youngest a college senior is working part time at an acounting firm for $15, and this summer will intern for a larger firm for $25 . Her last summer job paid 12.50 she found that co. 60 grand. If one wants to earn more money, one should get the skills that makes them. Sought after . Hating the rich will get you nowhere ,become one! My sister and bil lived in a trailer at 19 w/ a kid. He worked 2 jobs went to night school, later took a buy out from Kodak,a second mort. Started his own co. Sold it for millions. His son my nephew, put everything he owned into a company. Inc. magazine just ranked it 8th fastest growing co. In the U.S. My hunting partner grew up in a basement. That was the house no upper floors ,just tar paper over the wood floor / ceiling? He took a factory job here in Roch. Today he owns it. What made these guys rich was risking it all working 60 plus hours a week for months without a day off ,taking large risks with everything they owned.

So let me understand this, a born again preacher from the Deep South is against homosexual behavior and some people are surprised by this ?

I get a kick out of folks who think they have to point out that the show is,scripted ,fake or entertainment . Really? Who would have thunk it? Next thing you know they'll say Gillian was not really stuck on that island ! Oh and yes Maryann was hotter then Ginger, with mrs Howell a distant 3rd.

Ive Thought of quitting a few times as it is. All the time, work and money does not really make sense ,I know plenty of hunters who would give me a deer. I dread going back down to pull my stands in the snow and cold we have now. That said I'm looking at some more stands on sale at Dicks and planing some chainsaw work..... No way I'm going to a check station ,unless it's pretty much on my route home.

Open the door once a week or so for an hour or two. If it's fire resistant then it's designed to hold moisture in suspension ,that is released in high heat conditions ie a fire. These often will release moisture quite a bit when new. I've owned floor safe, wall safes, fire resistant files, safes, gun safes for 30 years. I worked making them for ten. My fire gun safe and 2 drawer file are I my basement, I run a dehumidifier year round down there , and have a large can off desiccant in mine. Keep, guns lightly oiled ,and anything like watches I keep in airtight containers just in case, but never had an issue.

That's what it is. Thick brush buts against hardwood ,kind of an L. They come out of brush turn west into woods.

I'd name him Bill.

Well I have to say I have 2 . The first is kind of an inside corner, my first bow stand went up there in 88? The stand was made of steel and hung on with a chain,, I still use it, no cables to platform which I love. I killed a young buck there my first year of bow hunting. Since then I have killed deer there most years. This year no exception. My second is a small clearing in the NE corner of some thick thick brush,a bulldozed trail lays just to the N , then a smaller thicket across trail. Pretty much can kill deer there all season, took one in bow there this year. Those 2 I always have a stand in same tree each time.

Hogue grips makes a great grip for the LCP Put that on along with the pinky extension and it's much easier to shoot. https://www.google.com/search?q=hogue+grips+lcp&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=G5ysUt_FNOeysQTqt4GADg&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAA&biw=1024&bih=648#facrc=_&imgrc=MQ9mVF4M_BP0RM%3A%3BFDIAig30GpMC3M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fmedia.midwayusa.com%252Fproductimages%252F880x660%252FPrimary%252F695%252F695949.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.midwayusa.com%252Fproduct%252F1151194422%252Fhogue-handall-slip-on-grip-sleeve-for-ruger-lcp-rubber%3B880%3B660 For a shooting gun non .22 I d go 9mm.

Going this afternoon, will have to bring snow shovel in order to get off the road... Was thinking of Sat. Morning as well, but I start nights Sat night and getting up early on the start of a night trick is not as appealing with the freezer full. Think I'll stay home sleep in hit the gym and snowblow driveway before heading to work.

"OK, first of all let's admit that we are mostly not statisticians. Most of us do not have any real inside info on the analysis and evaluation of statistical systems ." I certainly don't but my neighbor and fellow deer hunter was the head of R.I.T.s math and statistics dept. He feels that their methods are alright. That is recording the tags at processors and check stations and then checking the reporting rate of those known kills. I have no idea I just count the ones I kill each year, and it's been 1 to 4 per year since 1,988 . Mostly by how many I want 1 to 2 and how many others want me to get for them. I don't recall any hard years where I hunt .

A white face Explorer II would be nice. Save me from waiting one more year as I pay for the youngest ones masters degree.

Well,I hunted more than most years, but passed a lot in bow .Saw many mature bucks but at a distance. One doe in bow that I gave away. Gun hunted my behind off.one in the freezer ,sure passed a lot early then things slowed. 3 mature bucks killed near me ,all of which i had on cam by my stands. By mature I mean 24 inch 8 pt, 12 pt with double split brows 12 inch g2s,High 8pt. All I had on cam. So,that was a disappointment in a way. Still a few slammers Around for ML. So I got out a lot ,meat in freezer, hunted with buddys that's really what it's about for me.

Guess she was not happy about it. Told her if they did it on Duck Dynasty she'd be laughing about it.

Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that's wrong is to get caught. Don't know any poems.... Do limericks count?

Dress at stand. I often carry my coat in , an open up zipper on mid layer, and wear just a ball cap instead of warm hat on walks. I've sat at 7 and 9 degrees this year for 4 hours warm as an English Muffin. UA base layer, UA heavy sweat shirt type thing,my Camo coat. On the bottom,UA infrared and a a set of bibs. Liner sock and a heavier sock, unknown gloves, knit hat. Wooly I hunted many years in my Carhartts, and hoodies! I always said look what outdoor workers wear, although they tend to be active while we sit. On the FD you won't see more then a UA top the it's all cotton and cheaper stronger cloths, welding mask liners are popular for head gear as well.

I like to go on just as I can start to see. I hunt edges,woods/ fields , woods/crops, woods/mowed paths . I glass the fields as I go, this way I can stop and wait if they are in fields , move to a differant stand, let them pass whatever. Most stands are on an edge or at most 20 or so yards "in" . This gun season I don't recall spooking 1 deer, well today at 7 45 I spooked one when a 150 gr. 270 went through it at 30 yards.....
