    Out of my shotgun i will shoot 5-10 sabots each year to make sure nothing moved. Sabots are pricey! My shotgun spots i really dont have anything further than 75 yds..

    I have used some twice now it has attracted two 1.5 year old bucks right to my stand... My can I keep forgetting in my truck lol. But yes I think the can is next on deck

    Yes has brought in several young bucks so far in 8H. Right under my stand actually lol. I use the knight and hale little plastic pieces that you rub together, sounds real nice

    I am... I read that preservatives are added to synthetic urines and to try not to let the temp fluctuate too much or it will spoil quickly. True? Idk

    A doe group I've been seeing on a regular basis about 6 or 7 of them have been getting chased for the past couple days by this buck who i believe is a 3.5 year old 9 or 10 pointer. He's much bigger than the other neighborhood bucks. The younger bucks are responding to my rattling and coming within range but he aint, think there's a hot doe in the group already. 8H

    Saw 3 new scrapes tonight on the trail to my stand which is only 150 yds long.. Gonna doctor up the scrapes on my way in tomorrow and drag stinkers... No chasing in 8H yet but seeing solo bucks with their nose down

    I'm about 15 mins from there and Webster is one of my hunting spots.. got some big bucks on our trail cam this year in Webster.. Good luck

    in WNY 6:30 at the latest.. that's a good 15 mins of sitting in the dark...I've had bucks on my cam going by around 645-7am recently... good luck

    I had a problem with my cabelas cam after only maybe 13 to 15 months of use.. Just over a year... They said within 1 year they will replace.. Well they sent me a new one after i sent back the malfunctioning one anyways. Cabelas is great

    I think this week i will keep using buck urine and rattling. After halloween i will likely use more estrous and my bleat can but also keep the new scrapes i've been seeing fresh with buck scent. Good luck

    I took off Nov 8, 9, 10 for all day sits.. Rut should kick off full steam with that Nov 4 full moon.. can't wait!!!!!

    Yes, I'm big on scents as a couple of my stands are on very small properties with lots of deer traffic... I use evercalm on my boots and also will put it on some hanging felt pads here and there.. For the pre- rut right now I use the evercalm with the testosterone in it... my scent drag I will use buck urine, and during the rut I will use doe estrous.. I use 2 and hang them around my stand when I get there.. good luck!

    carbon express mutiny hold up really well out of my Mathews switchback at 64#.. and carbon express piledriver out of my xbow which is brand new this year!!

    Yes nockturnal they are great. I am very colorblind so I shoot the blue nock which helps me see shot placement, recover my arrow, etc. I've had a couple in my quiver for 2 or 3 years now they still are bright and light up every time.

    Meat eater is great... also Mathews dominant bucks because they're always shooting huge deer... Buck commander usually has decent pieces too as well as some celebrity guests. But you're all right, too many commercials and selling and not enough hunting!!

    No I don't as I do not like to give away my stand locations before gun season if I get busted. I'll practice getting onto my loop slowly and pulling back here and there. Last thing I need is a mature doe blowing out the whole woods before rut!! That's the worst

    8H yesterday morning had a fork and spike posturing at eachother. It was pretty funny actually. Also had a moma doe chasing and blowing at her yearling. Does kicking yearlings already? Seeing tons more scrapes all over now too. Good luck!

    This topic got out of control! "Gravy" is not in our vocabulary, and yes carrots do sweeten the sauce to help remove acidity... But we have never used carrots.. And my non Italian friends use the term gravy. It must be slang? Or as I said before lost in translation at some point.
