Belo I also have a switchback cica 2006 but when I feel newer bows they're just so much lighter, a little faster, and better balanced.. which is the reason I am looking for a change... looking to get into a newer Mathews or give Elite a try out (they're local here in Rochester close to where I live)

we listen to a lot of frank sinatra and big band music around the holidays

very sorry about your family loss... what amazing longevity. we are sicilian-american and the mediterranean diet is the best medicine IMO.

This is not the reason I hunt deer. I don't think there would be any satisfaction in this. I have been hunting 10 years and have 141" and 137" bucks down and don't own my own property. Harvesting multiple deer per year, feeling my heartbeat in my throat, while battling the elements and getting a couple wall hangers here and there, now that's why I hunt. If you have money to blow then have at it. IMO

Awesome.... Congrats. You have BDC on your ML?

With tags left I am somewhat eating tag soup how about that.. Have a friend that was "shutout"

Awesome deer. Yes beautiful sheds. And yes very tough animals

Pretty much... Multiple tags left is my definition of tag soup

Having tag soup this week... Anyone else??? Filled my gun buck and got about 80# of meat from him. Still have my DMPs and bow/late muzzle buck. With no muzzleloader I will give it a go this weekend with my crossbow in the snow. I must be getting soft in my old age of 30 as I passed on a very large mom with a yearling yesterday at 10 yards. Comments below lol

Looks like a decent outline to me. I've been hearing about increased buck activity this week and chasing going on now again. Bucks fighting. Freshened scrapes

Went today.. gotta think $20 goes to the lady, $20 to the doctor, the rest covers overhead.. They'll bill my insurance $400 but get paid $175 for cleaning and xrays

Yes on ebay. Sold a couple on there

Owl swooping down. Always freaks me out when owls land in my tree while hunting

What i was taught is you may test positive for quite a while even after being successfully treated. Needs to be aggressively and quickly treated otherwise you can get permanent neuromusculoskeletal damage.

I bought the stuff made by Repel.. actually after seeing the threads on here warning of how bad a year it was.... Put it all over my insulated camo especially the cuffs at the wrist and ankles... Have not found any ticks all year.. only on a buck my friend shot mid bow season did it have a maybe 3 or 4 full ticks on him. I contracted Lyme disease about 6 years ago it was not fun at all

With one access rd and the layout I agree. It's good you're close by tho BBD... Are the adjacent properites hunted? Also what kind of machinery can you fit back there? Any farmers to lease to? Nice to have very close land like that, good luck
-
Yes a lot of variables. Shotgun or rifle? Hardwoods or field? Terrain? One person could certainly cover a 10 acre field with a rifle. But 10 acres hardwood might fit 2-3 people comfortably and hunt totally different deer. For instance one spot I hunt we can sit 3-4 people on 15 acres and be quite far apart. Another spot I hunt we can sit 3 people on 6 acres but all face away from eachother. I personally hunt a 5 acre spot and it's just me.

The face paint made it happen. But seriously, cool buck i bet he weighed at least 230 live weight. Nice to get a deer in memory of his dad
