I don't understand why there isn't an open 365 day season on Coyotes....

My goals are too enjoy myself, the woods and my hunting buddies....pretty much the same as every year....

They are both pretty awesome as always!!!

I still say it sounds like you got an awfully nice boat that runs well for the money. Few little issues are to be expected with anything that is used....

I had planned on Kayaking from Ballston Spa to Saratoga Lake last summer. According to some people who had done that paddle it took 3 or 4 hours and we wanted to spend a whole day so we backed up to Rock City Falls. It started out perfect...nice slow relaxing trip...Drank some beer. After about a mile the creek got wide and was only a few inches deep. No biggie...Get out and walk until it goes back to being able too Kayak. Make a long story short, it was only Kayakable in very small stretches. We mostly walked over wet slipper rocks while dragging a Kayak while I was wearing water shoes from Ocean State. We basically walked dragging a Kayak from Rock City Falls to Ballston Spa thinking I was going to break my ankle or a toe with every step. According to my Fitbit it was just shy of 9 miles. My wife rescued us in Ballston Spa as it was getting dark. So the farthest I have gone is almost 9 miles but I was dragging...not paddling....

And if you kill one of those deer you get a new crossbow as a gift!

I play golf with my neighbor. We go out, laugh at eachother...drink some beer...neither her or I take it seriously at all and its a pretty good time. I never cared for golf until I played with someone just as terrible and unserious about it as I am.

I used to get several magazines. I have since let them all lapse. No matter what magazine it was whether hunting, snowmobiling, cars etc. It seemed like if there was one article in a magazine that pertained to something that interested me, I felt like it was a good month. Most of the time I felt like I just flipped through them and read almost nothing. 20 years ago I was excited when a new magazine came in the mail.

DEC says completely random...IDK, I have been declined on the first day available and have gotten them on the last day to apply.

What is it that you threw down?

I was down at the lease this past weekend for the first time since hunting season. No food is planted this year. We had soybeans on the North Farm when I got the big 9 in my avatar so I think I am down on there not being food. The year after we had nothing planted and then last year we had soybeans and corn on the south farm. This year the fields are just all overgrown. The food being planted is a recent plus to the lease. We have gone years and years without food planted and someone in our group always gets a nice one. Gotta say having the food source right there makes me more optimistic for some reason. Last year during bow season I sat near the corn and counted 30+ deer in an afternoon sit and 6 or 7 different small bucks. (I am sure some of the doe were the same deer going into and out of the corn) The solar panels getting installed on the field on the North Farm looks like a stalled project. There are frames for several panels installed but the guys that live closer than I do said they started that in the spring and it has looked exactly the same for months. Hopefully they won't start back on it during the season. Gotta rent a brush hog and clear all the trails in the next couple of week and be out of there by Sept 1st...Lots of work to do checking stands, redoing posted signs etc...

We leave all our stands year round. We move a couple and add a couple every year but for the most part they stay put. Just check straps etc and replace as needed....

That is pretty cool. I don't see how that won't work.....

I love Kayaking down a stream from point A to B. Hard to do that on a paddleboard. To me going out a paddling around a lake for an hour or two is boring but to each their own....

Ok, you will think I am crazy....Scratch the crap out of it. Until it bleeds......Then spray it with brake cleaner. If you ever got brake clean on your hands you know it dries them right out. Well it does the same with the poison ivy. Gets rid of the oil and it starts healing immediately. Although I have never gotten it on my face, it works awesome on the legs....

I hope they start doing Great White Shark adventures. They have enough of them out there the last few summers. I would love to do that! Sorry that was totally off topic...

I have PM'd Grow as well. Only ever during deer season. She seemed great last season and we shared some pictures. I have asked her to return more than once but she has no interest. I guess I don't blame her. Maybe if all you guys that want her back send her a PM requesting her return and let her know she is still talked about and missed we can get her to trickle back. If not I will reach out to her during hunting season. She is very pleasant to chat with and I consider her a hunting buddy that I have never met. Just like I consider most of you....

That's awesome and I agree that it is great this is what he wanted instead of a video game or a phone..... Best of luck and enjoy every minute of it....
