And bourbon! If things get really bad, I can drink it warm or cold.

Are women's hunting jackets cut differently than men's?

C'mon.......You could pull it off Larry! -
I hear ya Doc. My MQ-32 was purchased in 2000. Set to about 53 pounds now, It still kills deer. Got another one with it last year. A complete pass through at 8 yards. As long as my shoulders allow, I will keep using it. This year it gets a new string and cable. I have thought many times of getting something new or newer. Then, I just shoot the old Mathews, that just feels like an extension of my arms and say, maybe next year.

CANON CamCorder & Camera FOR SALE
grampy replied to BizCT's topic in Non Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
Hey Biz, don't know much about these. Would the vid be good to film hunts? Looks small enough to put in a fanny pack. Been thinking of filming, when I take my grandson out. Or is there better options for doing this? -
I know they are super expensive. But I bet a bunch of them will be sold. I can't afford one, but do think they are pretty cool.

After work, I was shoveling the end of the driveway, when the mail person stopped. Whoohoo! I said when I saw the box! Man, pictures just don't do these justice! The real bear claw and the quality of craftsmanship and materials is outstanding! They are absolutely beautiful and so cool! Ordered one each for my grandson, my lifelong hunting partner and myself. Made by a true outdoorsman and artist, for fellow outdoorsmen. They will no doubt set us apart, whenever, and wherever we wear them. I will treasure mine. And if you want one of your own to treasure, I highly encourage you to get in touch with wooly. Thanks so much Matt.

A Yukon moose hunting and fishing trip, with some gold panning thrown in just for fun. An African trip with Dinsdale for plains game. Probably won't be able to do either of these, but dreams never die. Just we do, before seeing them come true. But better to have dreamed, and not see them through, than to have not dreamed at all.

A beauty for sure! He looks so nice up there! He looks a little lonely though. Get him a companion this year!

At just about every tourney I've ever fished, there was ALWAYS, at least one A-hole, complaining about something or someone. And MOST times, because HE couldn't admit to himself, that HE just didn't fish well enough that day. Most times it's always the same ones, unless they cash, then everything is fine! Seen guys caught cheating, then lie on top of it. The few times I was paired up with a Pro, during BASS Federation tournaments, those guys were always pretty cool. But, I've heard stories of it being a nightmare too, won't mention names, but they would be recognizable. I always did it just for fun! And I do enjoy the competitive side of it. But mostly to become a better angler myself. I learned alot from guy's who were much better than me. Things I'd have never learned on my own. And I always try to help others on and off the water when I can. My best advice to fish a bass tournament? Just shut up and fish!

Yum! Did ya save me any?.....

Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great one!

I have fished local bass tourneys, and a few down south, mostly in SC, on and off for over 35 years. Collected a few wins along the way. Caught my biggest NY bass 7lbs 3oz in a tourney on Saratoga lake. Fished with Roland Martin a couple of times. I've had a lot of fun, and met some real good guys along the way. Also a few real dinks, and I don't mean fish! Still fish an occasional tournament now and then. Mostly when someone needs a partner or if someone wants to fish one, to see what they are like. And I still can ride home with a little extra cash in my pocket, if I get lucky. Mostly now, my best days fishing, are spent with my grandsons or people who don't get a chance to get out on a boat much. And sometimes I just go solo, for a bit of R&R.
