I used the mechanical Slick Tricks on my crossbow last year with outstanding results. On my compound I've used fixed blade NAP Thunderheads for a few years with no problems at all. Buckmaster 7600 gave great advice. Find something that shoots well, from your bow, that you have confidence in and you will be OK. Most all of today's broadheads will kill deer when properly placed.

Pretty certain it's a raccoon. Cool pic! Lots going on in it!

If you PM me your address, I'll be happy to put together a "bass package" of stuff for your son. I have a bunch and I'm always willing to share with a kid.

moog, start with the shaky worm in black or green pumpkin to start. They can be fished a number of ways. On a 1/8 to 1/4 oz jig head. Texas rig, with or without weight in the weeds, wacky rig em and throw them around cover and hold on!! The minnow works well too but do the worm first.

Savage Axis in 7mm-08 with Leupold VX-1 3x9x40 shooting 140gr. Federal Premium Nosler BT Backup Ithica Deerslayer 2 with Leupold 1x4 shooting 2 3/4 inch Remington Accu Tip Copper sabots. Both get the job done with dead right there shots. When I do my part.

Also be sure to have it tipped back enough to drain the water from condensation. Otherwise the fan spins in a puddle of water wich can cause other problems. I've had a few AC problems over the years too!

Don't want to sound dumb but could the unit be freezing up? I've had them freeze and spit out a kind of icy mist along with a smell. Just turned the unit to fan and let it de-ice for awhile and then was fine. Not sure that is your problem though.

Here kitty kitty..........lol

I'd just use it to replace an old Simmons that is on there now. That still shoots fine. Hmmmmmmm.

You get first choice for your daughters gun. If you don't go for it then perhaps I may. It is a good deal! But I don't "really" need it.

Got home and upgraded tap a talk and went through google chrome to access the forum and all is perfect on the tablet now! I'm liking it!

Beautiful country out your way! Glad to have you stop by. I'm sure you have some good elk and mule deer stories!

Oh yeah! Been using the Gulp stuff for a few years now and it works great. Been using the white and chartreuse swim bait with good success lately. For Mohawk River smallmouth.

Man....I can almost smell that cooking from here!

Will they work on a crossbow? This thread has got me thinking! Never knew about the knockoffs until reading about them here.

I would tell my grandsons to look out for sharks while swimming in our local lake, when they were younger. Even then they would roll their eyes and give me that "really....grampy" look. I get that a lot.........

The last two weeks we have been getting a good gully washer every three days or so. Had one on Saturday and have them in the forecast for this afternoon too. Good for the crops and critters!

He never got back to me. Too bad, I could, perhaps have drummed up some business for him. Especially if his baits worked well. I am a fishing bait junkie! And have bought lots of baits that appealed more to me than to the fish! But every now and then, I hit on something that works amazing!

I'll try when I get home from work. It's fine from the work computer. Much better from here. So it must be something with my Samsung tablet? Although it didn't have a problem until after the upgrade.

On my tablet, when I click on a topic, the threads are spelled out vertically instead of horizontally. Very difficult to read anything spelled out vertically.

Happy Anniversary John! I'd say you've had your hands full the last couple days. Thanks for keeping the site up and running. It will only get better from here.
