  1. Unless you're renouncing your citizenship and moving offshore with all the celebs, he certainly is your President. Or just enjoy your divisiveness. After all, it's the democratic way!
  2. I sent a paypal payment for one of the supporting member options back on 10/28. I haven't heard anything yet. Sent a message to John a day or two later but haven't gotten a reply yet. Did you guys receive the paypal payment? It shows as pending still on my account.
  3. My wife and I did our part this morning on the way to work. 9th and 10th votes cast in our polling place. I detest one of the choices, and hate the other. However I voted for the one who I feel will damage this country the least. I'm also a Bills fan, so I lose a lot...
  4. I use one in an enclosed box blind (with the windows open). I don't notice any odor. Takes the chill off for sure. Now if I can just get my buddies to bring fresh propane cylinders when they use the old ones, that'd be great!
  5. I don't eat very much candy or sweets, but during deer season, I always stock up on Reese's peanut butter cups from the Halloween candy sales (best chocolate ever). Always throw a few in my pack along with other goodies depending on how long I'm hunting. I'll never eat the last one until I get back to re-stock. Sometimes it's really tempting, but I've shot a couple of deer while eating them so I figure it must be connected, right?
  6. Crap - that takes me out. My 10 pointer from last year didn't have testicles.

    Timing

I'm seeing the same thing on my cameras. But I'm betting when the bucks get careless during the rut, that should change. Or at least that's what I'm hoping for. I had only nocturnal pics of a particular buck last year, yet he showed up on the edge of a field at sunrise last year on the rifle opener. He looks good on my living room wall!
  8. I just got a big tub of popcorn, and poof, it's gone!
  9. I like to take a progressively larger buck each year if I'm so blessed. That said, I enjoy hunting my property and the big boys are few and far between. I do like venison, and certainly don't want an "empty freezer" year. If it's late in the season, and I haven't filled a tag, the first small six that shows up isn't going any farther.
  10. Cabin, have you tried any not-for profits? I work for one and compliance activities have gone through the roof in the last 5-10 years. We home grew our compliance specialist (CFO who took on the additional responsibilities), but I know other companies similar to us struggle daily to maintain compliance to various state and federal regs. Not for profits sometimes pay less in general, but a sought after position in compliance pays market if it's the right company.
  11. That's what we say when we go back to Rochester to visit family! "It's so flat, nothing to look at for scenery".
  12. Throw me in the unimaginative group. I moved to Steuben County from Rochester (born and raised in Greece/Hilton) in 2008. Name is Jerry.
  13. Welcome LowClimber. Bucks are still hanging together by me, and mostly on the cams at night. Have only found one weak rub so far.
  14. Congratulations! Love the pics!
  15. Looks like that'll work nicely for you. I never thought of putting my bow in vertically like that. My limbs are wide enough that I really have to force it in that way. No interference when your handlebars are turned all the way?
  16. He was a new guy, first year on the job. I never spoke to the previous guy who retired. I was very grateful of his willingness to help shut it down. It's been two seasons now without the trespassers, but I still am on guard for them.
