My condolences First Light.

I am far to lazy to only shoot one broad head at a time. I shoot field tips up until late September then I’ll shoot a couple of rounds with the broad heads to make sure they are still hitting the same spot then I’ll switch back to field tips. So just guessing each broad head goes into the foam target 4-6 times a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't shoot my broad heads at the target much and they are still sharp but y'all are making me nervous that they are not sharp enough.

Support for gun control down
Moho81 replied to rob-c's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
The more the world goes to hell the more people who never wanted to own a gun now want one for personal protection. Around May a conversation started amongst 2 friends that don’t own guns the end result was I hosted a pistol permit class for 14 people in early July. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
More Cuomo stupidity

Not to stick up for the guy because I think it’s a pointless law but wouldn’t the police still have to have probably cause to pull you over for a rear seat belt infraction just like they do for the front seat? I’m sure they can make up that excuse if they want to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
If I remember right this was the episode that was shot in NYS and if I remember right he talked about how he knew he could take that shoulder shot because of his heavy arrow set up and the close range the Buck was at. I believe he said if it was a different arrow set up or a longer distance he never would have taken that shot. I only have one Bow deer under my belt so I am no expert but I am a very Keep It Simple kind of person so I shoot fixed blade Muzzy's. The arrow entered in between the ribs and impacted the shoulder on the other side and did not pass through. I watch where the deer went down but decided I wanted to find and follow the blood trail just to brush up on my skills. In the low light of being just after sunset I found blood immediately and had no problem staying on the trail at a quick pace. The blood trail got so thick I gave up following it after 30 yards and just walked to the deer because I was not going to learn anything new following the trail. That right their gave me enough of a reason to stick with fixed blades. As they say if it works don't fix it.

So I was going to shoot tonight for the first time since 2019 now season but now I can’t find my release. I know it was in the case when I dropped the bow off for a tune up. I specifically remember it being in there and me leaving it in their when I dropped it off. No idea what happened to it from that moment last week to today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Congratulations on the retirement Rattler. Just because your moving to PA doesn't mean you have to leave the forum. The internet stretches all the way to the southern PA border now!

Is the presidential running mate always announced around this time? Seems really late to me. Announcement today then only 3 months for debates and such before Election Day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
No repeat of last year allowed for you. That was a painful season for ALL of us to follow

I would think you could sell the camp for more than the original investment of power, water and septic.

Got a side panel done today and got the three sides up and tacked together. What are you guys using for exterior sheathing? I was thinking 7/16” OSB but then is paint good enough to protect it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First up was a Scotch Ale with dinner and now a Resurgence strawberry IPA. First impression is the strawberry isn’t strong enough and it almost has a sour IPA taste to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Grilled corn on the cob with grilled salmon in a lemon basil marinade topped with Parmesan cheese and garden tomatoes I also just had a@Treeguy dad sighting ironically with a truck bed full of cut wood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

is it sad that I am already thinking about drinking a beer while grilling up tonight's salmon dinner?

I just took my bow in for a tune-up. I'd love to learn how to do it myself but free time right now is non existent.

Corona Virus Thread

Thank you for this reply. I feel selfish for wanting my kids back in school even if it’s a hybrid model half in half out. I’d prefer 100% in but it seems unlikely. Mine are young 10&7 and while I will not speak bad of the teachers last year because it was a sudden and unexpected change but my girls learned absolutely nothing at home. The first few weeks where more of a review of what they already did. Then it was a few weeks of new stuff followed by a week or 2 of review and the last week was a fun week over zoom. Most day where 1.5 hours max of work. I worked full time in the office and my wife worked full time at home. We are not teachers and I can not pretend to be one. I know the answers but trying to teach what I know in a school like setting was very difficult. We muscled through it but sometimes it was the last thing we wanted to do after dinner and a long day. I don’t really disagree with you. If the allegations are true hold those people accountable for their actions and let the NRA vote for new leadership or however it’s done. Having the NRA dissolved completely would be the bad part. They may not be perfect but they are the largest organization supporting gun rights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
