  1. That is tiny for November. I i saw one last year around the same time of year. I initially thought it was a fox chasing a doe.. I wouldn't think it would have very good chance of making it through the winter.
  2. Interesting.. I myself am going to go on a low carb diet again. I did it 15 years and lost 30 pounds in a couple months.. I never would have believed it to work. I averaged 5000 + calories a day and still lost weight.. lol.
  3. I discovered my 1st one while hunting Letchworth sp in an ammo box. The girls and I find a bunch every year now, usually in the spring when we start to go stir crazy in the house. I use my phone and am able to set caches.
  4. Not nice! I'm friends with quite a few Amish and most are good good people. Be careful painting with such a big brush you might get some on you.
  5. There must be dozens of hunting clubs in the northern section of ADKs. . I'm not sure about the rest of the state or ADKs..Mostly on paper company lands...
  6. No disrespect intended. I ABSOLUTELY support those that are older or like your friend who is unable to pull a bow back, using crossbows.
  7. Hey. I would support that. Lol. Even though all of the new generations will complain that they are wusses and cannot draw a bow either so it's unfair... Just kidding ..sort of.. not really..
  8. Just got a new to me obsession fixation 6xp yesterday. Love it so far.. I was worried about the 6" brace height affecting forgiveness or with bulky clothes. Doesn't seem to be an issue. 2 shots at 60yds
  9. ? It's now illegal, so a CRIMINAL can no longer buy a gun ???? Wow. I feel safer already
  10. I would go out the night before and hang some orange clothes up ..
  11. Imho. it's not a my season my deer thing.. Every Hunter is welcome in archery season if they are carrying a bow. if anybody wants to hunt earlier , they have the option of using a bow. (And probably sooner or later a crossbow) . seems pretty simple. . It always ruffles my feathers when we are infighting like it's gun hunters against archers, etc.. we are all hunters. Probably 90+% of archers drop there bow opening day of firearms or mzl season. We have separate seasons for a reason.. Pandering to those that want it easier doesn't seem like the path that us as hunters ought to support.
  12. No, i bever did nake it over to Fish or Beaver creek this year..outside Waddington
  13. Pic didn't come out great.. I think otters are cool.. They were running and sliding all over the ice according to there tracks in the snow.
  14. It wasn't terrible. I called in help. Ha.ha.. One of my friends who is all tagged out drove over and helped me drag.. i told him it was only fair i helped him get his buck out last night.. Never mind that we drove the tractor to it.. And provided a truck seeing as i drove the little Cruze over.. Except for around 1/2 dozen beaver dams the ice was safe. We just hit land around them..
  15. Fairly successful morning.. I still hunted into a( new to me)piece of state land. I came across these 2. Typically I give the little ones a pass but he hung around too long and it is the last day of mzl ..And it was fun. ; ). I'm glad the ice was mostly "hard" They were over a mile to the rd.. there was a beaver flow/ creek all the way to the rd..
  16. Yes they do.. I see a lot of large rubs on the red cedar in the southern tier.. I rarely will see one on a white cedar up here though. They must like the smell..
  17. I own roughly 90 acres . There are normally 3-6 deer that bed there regularly.
  18. Yikes. Wishing you the best.. maybe they will finally figure out what's wrong with you..
  19. 50% audio. I probably spend probably that much of a day in stand with my eyes closed..
  20. Those small soft maple trees seem to be one of the moose favorites.
