sweet old bill
typing this with one hand, spent 7 hours in the hospital. I had a accident and was concerned had broken my wrist. turns out, they say may take up to 3 months and then after rehab may start drawing a bow. based on this sure wish they had allowed a cross bow season, would have gone from the hosiptal to Dick's to buy a xbow.... Gthphtm
Just relax an do as Dr. said,Don't push it.On the bright side there is rifle or shot gun season.I spent 2-1/2 in the hospitle with a compound fracture of the ankle,Blew it apart into 7 pieces,5 pins and 4 screws.Staff infection on top of that, getting the cast changed every 3 days. That was 3 months before rifle season. My buddies took me hunting would drop me off with a lawn chair and blankets.and a walkey talkey. No doe permit Just seeing the deer running threw the fields helped eased the pain. Fantail
At first I was wondering how there could be an 'end of season' thread already. Very unfortunate, hope the heal up goes well for you.
