went to Niagara Falls over the weekend

had a great time!! we stayed on the Canadian side and it was alot of fun. i never went to the falls let alone Canada so it was pretty cool. I went up with my Fiance, her parents and her Aunt and uncle. Good Times, we also got to change the lights on the falls for a bit, very cool experience

LMAO!! funny you say that phade! she goes ok well im planning a trip to Niagara with the fam for last weekend in October. I go what??? and just stare at her, she goes OMG ok i guess thats not happening. I said if we go, first weekend in Oct or we are not going! lol so from here on out the deer are in trouble.

We went there a few years ago when my daughter was @6-7 months old, matter of fact we bought my wifes bow at Gander while we were out there on that trip. That was also the trip where my son was carrying the wings from whatever famous wing place in the hotel and up the elevator and when we got off there was a trail of wing sauce all down the hall to our room. The capper was the next day when he ratted all of us out to housekeeping.."Hey guess what I did yesterday" lol

I took a ride there this summer, i thought i was going to see the falls. there was so much traffic i passed the parking lot and just kept going. i was surprised how bad the streets were.

I went there once at night during their Christmas decorations, and the lighting was spectacular. It really is a fantasic thing to see.

I think the Canadian side is much nicer than the American. My family went when I was younger, we stayed at a hotel that over looked the falls. To make a awesome trip cooler for the younger kids, somehow my mom made arrangements and we were able to light up the falls at night. We chose the color combination we wanted and where we wanted it in a little building, hit a switch and lit up the falls for 1000's of people to see. Kinda neat...I have never saw as many raccoon as I did at the "light" building, nearly 20 or 30 surrounding the place.

Canadian side hands down was way better. we stayed the weekend on the Canadian side. we passed through the NY side and it was like a ghost town...

haha we did the same thing! i got into talking with a bar tender where we ate dinner over looking the falls and she sent us over to the guy Dick who has been in charge of changing the lights for 30 years. we were changing lights and taking pics for an hour. it was a lot of fun. we didnt see any raccoon but the bartender did said Dick has been feeding them for years now.

Been there a bunch of times and it is a great place. Last time we went was about 5 years ago. I never had a problem but that time, going in, the boarder officer was such a little prick (sorry) that I almost caused an international incident. He was about 25 years old, 5 foot nothing with a huge chip on his shoulder. But getting back to the falls. Awesome!!! If anyone is thinking about going ....GO!
