i was really hoping for temps with highs in the mid 30's. not a lot of wind & cloudy. but i will take mid 40's. a whole lot better than 60's or 70's. lets hope it holds true!!

Although the weather will be great for the weekend warriors, I would prefer to have a touch of snow on the ground.

I also forgot is the wind has said it's coming from the E....which is about as rare as rare gets. Not even NE...straight up E.

That screws a bunch of my sets. Of all wind directions, E is the one where I have least options.

Yep it looking good,according to one of the moon charts today and tommarow are going to be the best of the month if you want to trust them.Snowing now 34 degrees,just had 5 young does feeding about 60 yards behind the house.

Yeah that pretty much screws me for the stand I was wanting to be in opening morning. All of the guys that head back into the swamp, East of my location will be stinking up the whole place. I was planning to sit on an escape route out of the swamp and counting on a SW wind which would give away the guys heading into the swamp, but kick my scent out into the open field, keeping the escape route scent free. Hmmmm, decisions decisions.

glad im not the only one who checks the daily forcast like religion.

I am up in the air now too with you phade.I don;t have many east wind stand options.But then again.It is no telling what direction they may come from on OD where i will be.,

I have one travel corridor that will work, but there's two hunting...sooooo. Gonna have to stretch it with one of the stand choices.

Worst part is the E puts my scent through most of the ground where they bed.

where i wanted to sit is right in the middle of two thick pine bedding areas with one to the E and one to the W.I would love a S wind but i might have to change my plan some.

Don't take these long-range forcasts too seriously. It will change several times before Saturday gets here. Those guys are doing well to get the forcast right for the same day.

They were right about the weather today in my area,they predicted rain last night changing to snow or a mix of each and clearing by noon, which it was today also the temps. were right.Well I just looked out the window and no more then 30 feet away are mom and her 2 young ones eating,now only if mom's boy friend would show up.
