Culvercreek hunt club
Well I headed out last night to check the cameras for the first time. Wasn't able to get to them becasue the fields were already full. Between the cut rye field and the beans there were 18 deer out there. Luckily I had the camera with me to check the cards. Was able to get a few nice ones.

Culvercreek hunt club
This little guy was standing about 75 yards away when we popped through the hedge row. We stopped and turned off the wheeler. He was looking right at us. went back to eating and then decided he needed a closer look at us and walked up to within about 20 feet. He continued eating and then just wantered off. I think this is his first rack and a very nice one at that. Great potential. If you notice he has some sort of small growth ont he top of his right eye. The bugs were driving this little guy nuts. He was more worried about them than us Edited August 6, 2013 by Culvercreek hunt club

Culvercreek hunt club
Then we get all the way out to the house and see these three walk into the field. I tried to zoom in the best I could but it was blurry at high magnification. The one standing in the hedge row is the blurry one on the right in the pic of the three. Fantail
18 Deer - is that all?
Culvercreek hunt club
Very nice! Is this by your home or camp? No Ag down at camp...lol. WIsh there was. I was hoping that cut rye field was going to be planted in Beans this year after the harvest but I thinkk they missed the window for that by now. Looks like it might just be rye again so that will make for very good late season once the corn is gone and the snow starts.

WesternNY
Nice Bucks, that first one, looks real nice and I would think would be around 3.5 to 4.5 but I need a Fall pic to be sure.

Culvercreek hunt club
In the first set of Pics, the bigger buck in the first second and third pic is not the buck on the left in the fourth pic. I was zoomed in and didn't see the one in the fourth pic until the first one walked off and I started to zoom back out. They looked darn near like twins. The larger one inthe fourth pic is the one fromt he second post. I think...LOL. there were deer everywhere. WNYBuckHunter
Bob, is the one in the second set of pics the same one that had the funked up rack last year? One side almost looked squashed in.
Culvercreek hunt club
I thought I had the pic on this computer but it was the other side that was squashed in.

NFA-ADK
Nice! Some real potential and a few brutes, looks good! Growing deer is very rewarding!!! You can identify that buck with the eye mark if he makes it to next season. How old do you think he is?
