Gun opener looks good on saturday.

Checking the weather like its my second job and this weekend is looking good for the opener in 7P.

 

30s in the morning with highs in the upper 40s.  Slight wind.  Looking good.  Getting antsy.

wow that's pretty warm there in 4y. Where I hunt in 4r will be a little colder because of elevation I guess.

I was really hoping for some temps in the upper 30s to low 40s. Not liking that they are calling for low 50s in 8r. I hate hunting when its that warm. Especially when you are there all weekend

in 3H we are looking at a high of 50 on Sat and rain on Sunday!

I'm thinkin it's gonna drop a little bit.  I'm more worried about the SSW and SSE on Sat & Sun.  Can't remember the last time we  had those winds on opening day.  It's blowing the way I usually see my deer coming from.  Well, it looks like I won't be smoking for the weekend anyway.  Hope it changes up a bit, but it's still cold enough in the mornings anyway.  Just won't need the sterno stove at all.

Its looking good in 3J. Its going to be about 4 degrees higher then normal but that shouldn't do anything.

Doesn't matter to me if it's going to be 140 degree or -30 degree...... the deer will be running for their lives here this weekend.

To be honest, I was kinda hoping for a comfy 60*!

The colder the better!!! In the 30's will be a great opener.. Snow would be the best but not looking good where I hunt

Me too... Was just talking about this as well. I'm always on the north side of the hill and it stays cold until late monrning even when temps to to the 50s

I hope if it does change the temps drop and dont rise. I would be happy to see a drop with a high of 45. I could handle that

Mostly Sunny, 52/39 with 4mph winds where I will be hunting in 3N. Could be worse, could be better.

 

I plan to hunt Saturday, Sunday, Saturday, Sunday, Thanksgiving morning, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Saturday, Sunday. So 9 1/2 days of the gun season or until I shoot a buck. My Dad will be hunting every single day (dark-dark), so the odds are in his favor for getting the bigger buck. Hoping to get lucky opening day. About 1/2 my bucks have been taken on opening day.
