Jeremy K
He hasn't done anything for western ny , that is until about 2 months ago he was flapping his lips about bringing in some government funded solar panel business , and just recently he put togethera panel of people to talk about helping fund a new stadium for our POS football team . To make a long story short he has been buying votes with tax payer money here in WNY for about the last 2 months. I think he is a chump and only cares about that giant money pit NYC. ants
Its hard for me to judge him in any other light except for the sleazy, underhanded one he cast on himself with his SAFE Act fraud. I guess I "have no place in New York State" …….Little King S#@t
dbHunterNY
I think he could be a good governor if his character wasn't horrible. he has the skills and drive to get things done. however, things getting done almost always benefit him. due to the SAFE Act I've kept up the dirt on him and very shady stuff happening. I otherwise wouldn't have known about it and I've yet to see any of it in the main stream media outside of pro-gun affiliations and sometimes not even from them. I don't have time to type everything here nor do I want to. that said I've gotten first hand information about shady things from everywhere and anything. one example being when tons of people in NYS Thruway were being laid off, his affiliates were being hired and put in newly created bogus management positions. a lady that's responsible for communications within the thruway had a box full of blackberry phones with the King Cuomo's affiliates names on them before they were even hired and at a ridiculous salary at that. mean while the hard working men and women of the thruway, regardless of years vested, got the axle and have their families now struggling to get by. then you've got his involvement with Ralph Wilson stadium and his "I love NY" box suite. they could only go through with renovations if he got it. it's supposed to be for hosting out of state businessmen to get them to come to NY, well that's BS. it's permantly reserved, available to his office, and we as tax payers paid for it. why not schedule it for use when you need it like everything else, saving us tax payers money and allowing the owner to get more revenue by having others temporary buy seats per game. the casino thing is another. various communities throughout NY state are economically at rock bottom, hoping that one of the casinos actually goes in and promotes business, lessens tax burden, and creates jobs. yet, so many are going in down-state where his real roots and interest is. he praised HIS ethics group saying they were free of restraint to investigate whomever, to finally put an end to political corruption in NYS. then when the committee started investigating his own office they bulked at the idea. the committees hands were slapped and now anything that was, was swept under the rug and you here nothing from them publicized. another thing many don't know or care about is the governor's job to grant pardons to those who have being charged or arrested in error. regardless if charges are dropped or the record set straight, they still have a record that they shouldn't have had. that record hinders them from advancing and being a benefit to NY society. practically all previous governors have granted truly deserved pardons in the triple digits, while King Cuomo has done enough to count on both hands since the new year began (for his entire term). how many that were arrested for having more than 7 rounds in a 10 round mag will be pardoned after that whole thing remains to be unconstitutional? my bet is on zero. I know this wasn't supposed to be about the SAFE Act but in court Skretny ruled in Cuomo's favor of everything except the 7 round limit, which we all know is ridiculous and puts family's in danger in their own homes, at a severe disadvantage against a dangerous home invader who's will I'm sure would only load 7 to be fair. yet Cuomo is seeking an appeal instead of saying yes the 7 round limit wasn't thought through but everything else is still proclaimed to be law see. I could keep going like I said and be typing here forever. he doesn't serve NY state as governor. his governorship serves him. his ego and drive to self benefit regardless of cost isn't worth his skills as governor. it's severely disappointing too because he has the skills and drive to do a good job. I'd rather take the circus of governors we had before him. they had their obvious faults but at least they loved and served the state as a whole. bubba
He is a typical politician, but he is very good at it. His people are way better than most, and he seems to be a step ahead most of the time. The sad part is his step is always going to the left. He is dangerous and honestly can not be trusted.

hunter49
I think he has been throwing WNY a bone the last few months to win back the votes of the gun owners he pi$$ed off with the safe act!(let us not forget). Also is doing the same across the state by lowering the hunting & fishing fees. I don't like or trust him. As far as the Bills & a new stadium I say let them go toToronto, They've been "a young ,rebuliding," team for the last 30 yrs. their excuses are like A- holes they all stink, sick of hearing it! jmho
MACHINIST
I think he is a typical politician where he says what he thinks the majority wants to here.Dont think that this thing with crossbows, sporting licenses and DEC season's changing isn't because he has his proverbial hand up the puppets ass and is doing his best to pull a magic trick on the sheeple of this state so they forget about all the BS that he has pulled."Oh I gave you the SAFE ACT and made it easier for criminals to get away with any bad deed thay can do but how about I sign this bullshiit bill for crossbows and the DEC restructures the liscences so you may or may not save anything because down the road you will have to buy a stamp fart on state land or you will be fined because of exess gass emissions on state property, have fun with crossbow though"!! Before someone says I am against crossbows I am not, dont care if NY has the,in fact I may try one out.FUAC FUAC FUAC FUAC FUAC Edited February 13, 2014 by MACHINIST

That will depend on who we can put up as a viable candidate. Liberal light will not do. But even of he is not elected again, there is still the senate and assembly to contend with. If they are not removed, having the most conservative governor ever will not make a difference with a liberal legislature. No one will ever be able to get a repeal bill to the desk to be signed. Doc
Cuomo signed the safe act but.....the democratic controlled house and the republican senate passed it allowing him to sign it.i bet most if not all will be reelected. I absolutely agree. If we cannot somehow become totally united, it will happen. From what I have been reading on this forum, I am beginning to think that such unity is not all that likely. I believe that the culprits will likely all get re-elected and things such as the safe act will continue to be successful here in NY. The safe act was a test. It likely will turn out that they will be emboldened by the success of their test. The culture in NY may have simply leaned so far left that it has fallen over with no real way of straightening it back up again.

Mr.Zach
I think Cuomo does well in the polls until you get to Western NY. If I recall, WNY was a strong supporter of Crazy Carl in the last time around. Cuomo is smart so start looking for a bone to be thrown to the westerners. philoshop
Our great state is a big ship that's been moving on it's current course with a lot of momentum for a lot of years. Arguably the biggest ship in the fleet that we call the U.S. Lots of ships in our wake, too. The little emperor stepped in to take the helm for while, and to stick with the analogy, he's not gonna rock the boat, just push the throttle a bit. It's going to take a lot of continuous and organized pressure from the passengers to change the direction of the ship. Will it happen? Good question. Can it happen? Absolutely, but it's gonna take a lot of work. To the OP, I'm not feelin' the love. I'm hurtin' here, and the little reach-arounds that are being offered just aren't enough.
