Shed hunting today and saw one nice gobbler. We're pumping premium now, LOL.  Needed the waders to get through the ditches. One hell of an opener tomorrow,  with areas flooded. Turkeys don't seem to mind.

Weather report here shows the rain dropping off at first light in the 50s and almost making the 65 mark by noon, might just might be a good day

Setup the Grounder 250...I'll be comfy/cozy in there by 4:45am:

I shot a few arrows out of it from 15-35yds...dead on.

I do wish the windows were a bit lower on this blind...packed some blocks to raise my seat a tad.

Good luck to everyone. I m going down to show a friend the land. He needed a spot closer to home to take his kid out this year.

I might turkey hunt 1 to 4 times a year,sometimes none. Not my thing.

Pouring down rain and not one gobble at our go to spot. Not sure what to do tomorrow. It rained hard here when they would have roosted could have changed their plans and roosted in another area.

Go to your go to spot IMO. They don't talk everyday. Every day is different. Killed my 8-9th bird this morning from under the same tree.
