Had to up my pizza game tonight

White(x2)
Mexican (venison chili as the sauce with Mexican cheese)
Sundried tomato pesto with fresh mozzarella and arugula (x2)
Finally - garlic paste, Manchengo,, prosciutto arugula quail eggs(too small to stay runny) and truffle oil

Wowza.  High end there. So must be quail eggs also made the breakfast menu this morn too and that wasn't a 5 egg omelette.

Had steak grilled, mashed taters, and garlic scapes . Wife and I had never had them . Looked them up on the net . We decided  to saute them in olive oil pepper and salt.  Served them with a twist of lemon . Was pretty tasty . Note to anybody that has never done them , cut the seed pod off with tips and discard  as they are very woody . The good parts had the texture of asparagus with a  hint of garlic taste.  Rather mild but tasty. Looking forward  to garlic harvest .. another month or so I guess .
