turkeyfeathers
Rob , We used to do a lot of froggin as kids. Pellet pistols or golf ball retrievers with fishing line , a hook and piece of red yarn. Not sure when season opens but I may have to look into it and do it again. The_Real_TCIII
I love frog legs. I also love Taco Bell. I cheated and bought those pre cooked ribs. BOGO at Tops. They're pretty good and quick, perfect for softball game nights
DirtTime
I got them from Price Chopper. First time ever buying them from a store. They were goooooooood! Used to be a favorite for us as teens ( friends and I ). Shoot them with our air rifles, cut the legs off and cook them with a stick over a fire like a hot dog. I was shocked when the g/f tried one. To many they taste like chicken. Not to me. They have that sort of fresh water flavor you get from pan fish.
Elmo
After a couple of members here mentioned it and I was in the area, I decided to try out Kishuya in Hartsdale. I give it a passable grade. If I worked I the area, I'd stop by there for lunch once in a while but I wouldn't take a trip out there just to go there. DirtTime
I wanted to see if I could get a nice char on a steak with propane like I can over coals. I was pretty shocked I actually did it. Only been cooking on propane grills for about 5 years. Before that it was always charcoal or over campfire coals. Nice little char on top and a perfect center! Brussels sprouts and a mayo based mac salad with bacon.
ants
I thought I was alone tonight, so I didn't make anything…Then the wife calls and tells me that not only will my kids be home to eat, but one of their friends as well. Threw together some Giannelli Sausage, peppers and potatoes . Big hit….Did you know that the name "Giannelli" is made up ??? The two owners are brothers. ones name starts with a "G" and the other starts with an "L". so they came up with G&L- eee. They're not even Italian!!!! Elmo
And how did it taste? Awesome! Obviously not the healthiest thing in the world but everything surprisingly complemented each other. The donut by itself would have been way too sweet but the spice from the kimchi, saltiness from the bacon, and the savory brisket bought it down and balanced it out. If you would have added too much of any one of those items, it would have thrown it off but it was just the right amount of everything to keep it perfectly balanced. http://www.kimchismoke.com/#!menu/c24tf

HAD TO buy a sixer of Labattes for my sister in laws new boyfriend. He will have one or two tops, in between conversation about "him" Then Im stuck with the rest of that Devils brew.
