What's for dinner tonight?

My turn to cook.. I just ordered pizza from La Bella Sicillia, classic C&P w/onions for the wife, and a white with sausage and broccoli for me. Left overs for lunch for next couple of days.

Salad, lemon pepper chicken, potatoes, green beans

Smoked some wings that were dry rubbed. Smoked almonds sautéed in butter and dry rub. And also smoked some eggs on the half shell. Finished the wings under broiler to crisp them up but we ate half before picture Topped the wings off with garlic parm sauce

Chefhunter how come when I try to chicken fry a steak the batter falls off? I go flour/egg wash/flour

Could be the oil is not hot enough, I would do flour buttermilk eggs then flour

Yes. Wegmans has them fresh vacumed sealed already peeled. Better than sliced bread. In produce aisle.

Perch filets dusted in Autrey's seafood breader and  sautéed in butter,,,The perch were swimming in Lamoka Lake two days ago...YUM !!

Potato patties from leftover  mashed taters .....Mermaid's fresh cranberry relish...Steamed green beans,,

Yelling goat with the Mrs. Calamari and Mexican pizza with steak , corn , caramelized onions , hot peppers and a few cheeses.
And talked to the owner. We have the cove area off to the side of the bar. He said he'd put the tables together for us. Biz , when you confirm Friday or Saturday let me know and I'll give him a call to reserve
