Been on a venison burger run lately. Saw someone on this thread with a burger with a grilled pepper on top was a good idea!

I think it was me with the pepper on the sausage patty.

 

Just adds a better dimension of flavor then slicing it and steaming it on the grill.

I too, thought that looked great, a spicy sausage patty, with peppers.  Nom noms

Kimchi : anyone try ? Wife n sil going to barrel n brine in buffalo tomorrow. Definitely getting horseradish dill pickles but we want to try kimchi too. Ideas I found : over smoked pork tenderloin, with deviled eggs , on a pulled pork sammich , saw kimchi crab cakes too. Whatcha got ?

Bacon wrapped venison t loins.

Second week in a row daughter had requested Hoffman's for Friday night dinner so had to take it up a notch. Wrapped a couple in thick cut center cut bacon. Then topped with mustard, chopped hot cherry peppers, kraut, and sauteed onions. Tasty

My dad was a chef and spent some time in Korea.  He refused to eat Kimchi, so never tried it.

Thanks. Hoffman's and our local White Eagle's are our favorite dogs. I think I could make a killing on a food truck with the bacon wrapped and that topping combo. It was REAL good.
