Scalloped taters and ham, made the way my MOM used to make it....

I use a 9 x 13 aluminum  pan...

A layer of sliced taters, a layer of chopped onions, a layer of diced ham....Sprinkle with flour, salt& pepper, and slices of butter...

Repeat until pan is full....Add milk until it fills the pan to about 1/2 the level...

Bake at 375  covered for about 2 hours...Remove cover and continue baking until brown and crusty on top...

COMFORT  food...Tastes even better when re heated the next day....
