Gotta say tempura duck fingers with a Thai peanut sauce is outstanding At restaurant as I suck at wing shooting Daughter just reminded me other night I went 0-7 last year on woodies as she was with me. Ugh

Meatballs look good Burt.

We had Turkey burgers, crispy crowns, garlic noodles, and tried some turkey sausage with Cheddar from Johnsville. I have to say, this turkey stuff isn't half bad and healthier too. I skipped the noodles and crispy crowns and had a salad instead. No one left the table hungry, not even the dog. My wife has a heavy hand.

Made homemade turkey soup last night and leftovers tonight.

The only think I missed from living in WNY was Buffalo Wild Wings. Couple years ago they opened one in Clifton Park and I did somersaults. They have some pretty good wings as well, with plenty of choices from plain to pretty frikin' hot. I like the mango habanero and the "Reformulated Blazin' ". Wild used to be the hottest, but...............

Wife went to Michigan state university. They opened a Buffalo Wild Wings there. She saw them nuking the wings , 2 drinks in ( she's a lightweight). Said " that is not how you do Buffalo wings ". We escaped safely and live on to tell the story

If most people knew how TGIF, Ruby Tuesdays, and all those restaurants like that got and cooked the food they wouldn't eat there either. That fresh steak was fresh last year. LOL

Dammit, now I want hot wings.

I love stuffed peppers! On the menu one night this week.

Last night I made my bacon wrapped stuffed backstrap in the smoker, then fried up some hand cut french fries and made some poutine to go with it.

Venison burgers with balsamic vinegar caramelized onions and s slab of sharp cheddar cheese.

Stuffed peppers. White rice, burger, hot Italian sausage, diced jalapeno filling, and topped with tomato sauce . Have enough filling left to make myself a few galumpkis for lunch tomorrow.

Finally scored a deer the other night so back straps are coming soon!!

How'd you prepare them ?   Love searing them in a touch of butter , dash of dry rub in cast iron skillet and then throwing skillet in the oven at 450 for a couple of minutes.

Seared on a pan tonight, usually grill them but not tonight. It was awesome
