Doe in the morning at 89 yards never got close but hung around. Then a small 4 pt ran right underneath me. Wish he'd been a big one

Just getting ready...winds are gusting and with the rains ..the climber will stay home today...I have a hidey hole I scouted out ..Will go in from the field and past the apples setting up on the other side of one of the ponds..This is all at the bottom of the steep hill and I really have no clue what I'm walking into now.... plans may have to change...I figure they will hit the water then the apples before crossing the hay field to the farmers winter grains this evening ...Hopefully it's not a swamp now...

Winds gusting pretty hard but I'm hoping to get out on my back 30 bye 3 ... I don't like bow hunting in winds over 20 mph but it's opening day so time do get a doe until the 15th when buck is open in my areas

got a doe this morning, my buddy and I sitting 100 yards apart saw 16 different doe from 0700-1000

Lots of movement this morning. Stayed in till about 1030. Passed on a 6,3 and 4 pointers. Does all around all morning. They were bedded in the field about 100 yard ahead of me for awhile before getting up and walking away. A little too windy though. Cold wind too. Will be back at it again tomorrow morning!
