Still working went through buffalo seen 3 good bucks and a lot of doe walk all over the place near thruway if I get out of this truck I'll do a evening hunt

Didn't see anything all weekend. Today I decided to get down from my stand around 7:45 walk around and try to kick something up... Nothing.... Well I'll be back at it Friday hopefully something changes by then

Stayed till 9am and have work to do on my favorite stand. It wasn't safe to use this morning so I went to a different stand. Saw two does and two of the smallest fawns I've ever seen this time of year. Lots if big rubs and scrapes by my fixer upper stand. Will get a buck in the morning in that one.

Biz it is a double drop. Not so easy to see from pic. Bittersweet way to end my season though as this is the last buck I will harvest up here as we are selling the place. It ended on a good note!!

Very quiet for me didn't see anything. Yesterday heard 2 shots in the morning on the bordering properties behind me and that was all. Today not a thing hoping this weekend will be better.

Just finished work now home to shower and get back out there and see how many squirrels I can see lol and maybe a lone deer too... all over the state they are saying same thing no deer since opener but seen deer in bow season ... idk what's up I'm thinking the moon cycle and longer bow season with the first rut winding down

I have to agree with some of you on here and say the weather last year might be the reason there's a lot less deer sightings. I've noticed it big time. Less road kills, less deer at the processors, less shots in the woods.

Between the long cold winter and coyotes getting their fill, I believe the impact is real. This is one of the worst seasons I can remember, deer encounters / sightings are way down for me. Yotes are in for a rude awakening after deer season.

It's actually surprising our group saw more deer this opening weekend than we have in ten years. Could be just good luck because I agree the winter was harsh.

I'm not thinkin this sit is going to go good. First snow here last night and not one track on way in to stand this afternoon. Not good they usually run around like kids on this prop on first snow!

I'll hold out hope for some dumb old deer to get lost and wander by!

Gotta love a snow fall. Found some good big Buck tracks leading to bedding areas. Moved my cameras over them.
