Had to use up some chicken quarters on sale for $.99 / lb plus a discount. Wife already hijacked half of it prior. Put what was left in bbq marinade for a few days. Then hickory smoked / roasted on the propane grill to 168 well within an hour. It was a quick dinner prep otherwise I would've smoked in the actual smoker for several hours real low. Still came out good though, life obligations are killing my smoking endeavors. lol20210602_173153.jpg

Just received my new Hasty Bake Ranger today. This will be strictly my competition grill and I believe it’s gonna be a game changer. Love how you can raise and lower the firebox while cooking. I’m really hooked on SCA comps

there is a nice house on the lake next to me for sale if youd like me to send you pics, as i need to be your neighbor!  You make good use of that smoker with great food and beers!

Haha…I wish! More like Mama Crappy saying “sure we can host my family in from Florida and my sister’s family and my cousin’s family on Monday,” which happens to be a teacher detention..umm..conference day and the first day of my summer camp!
Let’s throw in the first phase of a heat wave and call it good!!!!
And yet, YES ITS STILL SUMMER SO ALLNIS GOOD!!!!
