I mowed my lawn for the first time today..

Neighbors on both sides mowed THEIRS and shamed me into it..

That means I'll be a SLAVE to my damn grass every 4 or 5 days for at least 3 months, maybe more if we have a wet summer..

I've been threatening to pour the whole lawn to concrete and paint it green.

It DOES beat shoveling, Wooly, but this winter spoiled me..I never fired up my snowblower once and cleaned the walks/concrete SNOWPLOW style with a shovel perhaps 4 or 5 times..

I took your advice, however..I normally don't drink on Sundays, but I just cracked open a Blue Light and drizzled a little skull varnish in an old dried beef glass...

I mowed my front lawn yesterday, for the same damn reason!!   I was going to do the back too, but its still a little wet in spots.

I brought the boat home this afternoon from my buddies in Canadice and there is no room in the driveway.  I HAD to mow a spot on the lawn to put the boat.  That's all I cut but did pull a pile of weeds from the beds.......

 

I didn't do it but it IS gin & Tonic season now.

I was going to mow today. It's not in dire need, so I let it go. I will mow next weekend. I decided to crop the hair, make a good meal on the grill, and go shopping with the g/f to make sure she gets the right grilling meat today.

My yard is a disaster, the gas co replaced the lines and meters in the whole area. I don't know when they're coming to fix it all up but they said a reputable landscaping company will be handling it. They put a nice trench in my driveway too

Some folk round my way have literally acres of lawn. All I see when I drive by in the Summer is a large chunk of existence spent on riding mowers. What a waste.

My buddy that lives in Java has a huge yard to mow, it looks beautiful when it's cut but I wouldn't want to spend the hours and hours cutting it.

I just raked all of the leaves I didnt get to during the fall yesterday. My lawn is starting to look like its going to need mowed soon. When I sell this place and move back out of the village, my next house will have a very small lawn, I hate mowing the grass. So much time and money spent for nothing really.

I had no choice but to mow mine.When using a real type mower you need to mow more often atleast twice a week.
