How do you draw your bow ......

How do you draw your bow when shooting from an elevated position ? 

I draw my bow straight out , align the peep with the pin , bend at the waist and get on target . It's probably extra movement but it works for me .

some of my lighter ones I can draw while bent at the waist while maintaining good form.  otherwise I draw level then bend and come to anchor.

Same for me when in tree stand.

When on the ground, I am usually hiding behind a tree or something.  I'll point the bow down and pull up keeping in line with the tree trunk then raise the bow.  I feel this cuts down on one visible movement.  The only visible movement is the raising of the bow as oppose to the raising of an undrawn bow and the the movement of drawing the bow.

Pretty much what I do. Helps with keeping form in my opinion

Honestly I shoot so much and have shot so much I don't even think about it. Just like wing shooting, it's natural I guess.

Drawing parellel to ground n than bending is a great way to achieve proper form. Bending first can be done but it takes practice n the practice may be more effective w another knowledgeable archer watching you

I draw to the same point every time.  I don't even know how or where to explain it but it's the same and I know it.  When it's not the same I know it also and correct it until it feels like the same.  I'm really REALLY new to this and when I was shooting too much for practice and my arms were sore and  I could tell that I wasn't drawing the same and had to switch to every other day so I could correct it.

Basically I am already bent when I draw and usually do not shoot directly below as I prefer broadside so I need to let them get at least 10-15 yards or more depending on how high I am in the tree.

I draw my bow straight out or slightly up and if the angle of my shot is below my treestand i will bend at the waist. Bending or not bending in relation to your intended target (deer) has many variables, stand height,  targets distance from tree, slope of land..etc..

I would say I draw my bow pointing up...Then I come to rest aligning the peep and pin, then I find my target bending at the waste. Although of the three deer I have taken with my bow....I remember very little about getting drawn. It just happened...
