Guessing on weight is best for the hucksters at the County Fair though, grab a scale and get a weight on your deer in the future. It's humbling..........

dbHunterNY
we've had doe almost pushing 160 lbs dressed. by far most of our 4.5+ year old doe and even some 3.5 year olds are in the 120's and 130's. looks like a good sized frame to her to believe she's around that age.

Grizz1219
To be 100% honest.... Every deer I weigh on a scale is either right on or heavier than my guess, so thinking I am either right on or she is over 125lb... The butcher doesn't have a scale... And because I live in Ma and it is illegal for me to bring them across state lines I have to have them cut up there... But thanks for all the Kudos!!!! Grizz1219
Oh... and sadly, I am all of 290lb, so I make a lot of things "appear" smaller... LOL
grampy
Congratulations Grizz! She looks like lots of tasty vittles, no matter what she weighs. Most times, unless it's a HUGE doe we don't weigh them. Just cut em up and put em in the freezer!
