Cold hands

Muff and hand warmers tucked inside. Very rare I ever wear gloves. Dark to dark in single digits and I'm ok this way. I don't get cold very easily though. Also have a neck warmer that has a pocket in it for a hand warmer. Those two items and I'm good. Bring on the cold

Pants pockets. I seldom need anything else. However, I do have some phenomenal gloves designed for skiing that I use in extremely brutal weather. I take two pairs. One pair on my hands and another pair that is stored inside my suit, next to my body. Then if the one pair gets cold and is not doing the job anymore, I simply swap them. However these kinds of gloves are bulky and not great for shooting (especially for shooting the bow). So there does come a time when you just have to toughen up and go bare-handed for a few minutes.

Have a zippo lighter fluid handwarmer around here somewhere. Honestly it gets way too stinking hot. Like may burn a hole in your jacket hot. I used to use it camping. Even thru it in a thick sock to mute some heat. And it's pretty stinky with the lighter fluid. The charcoal stick ones are decent. But they don't always stay lit.

Those Hand warmers packets inside my gloves. I squeeze them for instant heat.

This works for me too! Those little packets have gotten me deer, by allowing me to stay out, "just a little longer"!

I can usually go with no gloves all day and not get cold hands , my problem is my feet get really cold ,to the point they hurt. I found using the hand warmers or even better the sore muscle patches on my back over my kidney really help my body to keep circulating blood to my feet .

Make sure your boots and socks are not too tight. Stay away from cotton. I like the smart wool socks. And if on stand use these. you will never have cold feet.

Not to hijack thread : just ordered these. Caught them at 20% off for Labor Day sale too. $86 ! Even at $120 they are a deal. They came in and run small. Sent back for next size up. No half sizes btw. After finding out my Muck Woody Max are not as insulated as I thought. Nice pair of Smartwool socks with sock liners and away we go. c970293b4950fad227de452b7899f84a.jpg

I've been through the zippo hand warmers (they smell). I've used the solid fuel stick hand warmers. Can't beat a good hand muff and the hot hand packs in there. I rarely wear gloves anymore. If I do it's only on my left hand.

Same here...been through all that and typically end up with the heat packs, muff, and one glove.

They don't make the muff I use anymore. It was replaced by this one. To me the neoprene is KEY. I have been in driving rain and my hands stay dry in there. Having the front accessory pocket is very nice to have other things you want to protect from the weather.

Hate to tell you pal, but I've owned 2 pairs of those. After the first time, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again, because I got them cheap. I only got 2 years out of each pair, before they started leaking. The rubber cracks and the seams leak after 2 years. If you don't hunt in a wet area, you might be OK.

Crappers. Cabelas warranties them so I guess I'll keep taking them back if need be.
