moog5050
So my wife kindly washed my hunting gear and I forgot to remove shells in my pocket. Took them out post washer. Toss em or let em dry out. No idea if they remain useable. Hate to finally have a turkey in front of me and no boom.

turkeyfeathers
Hand them to Pygmy to use ?! Honestly not sure. I’ve washed and dried a lot of .22 rounds and they go bang. I think you’ll be fine honestly.
Doewhacker
It could turn out like a cartoon when you pull the trigger and bubbles come out.

He must not fully understand what a jinx I am when it comes to turkey. Lol

Hunter007
I would use them but for practice only use new ones for hunting. As others have said
DirtTime
Good thing they aren't made of paper anymore. That would have been a mess, and a tear down of the washer to get the shot out of the base. Or, buy a new washer. Have washed many things over the years, wallets, keys, candy, receipts, money ( both bills and coins ), and condoms. But never ran any ammo through the washer. Lol Don't worry, Moog, I'll supply the shells, too..Just don't ask what shot size they are because they have been carried around in my vest and loaded and unloaded so many times all the markings are worn off...I'm pretty sure they are either 4s or 6s....Hehehe...
