I just got back from a grandson's baseball game and had to delete two yahoos and 30+ posts .

Not sure if you mods noticed, but these spammers are creating NEW accounts nightly and posting this crap just minutes later.

It doesn't look like they're using existing accounts as of right now.

The quick fix may be to suspend all new memberships until you guys can figure out a solution that heads this off upon registration.

I cannot believe these guys can get in so easily.   I'm on several forums and they never have this problem, so there's definitely a solution to avoid these spammers. No clue what that is, way above my pay grade.  

Thinking maybe it's a costly fix and that's why it's continuing?

What about adding a grace period or email confirmation with one of those I'm not a robot check box with the numbers inside an image. 

I can't remember what the log in requirements were.

Same and mine is burning the $h!t out of my mouth. I like warm coffee but not something that is painful to drink.

because these spammers made me see the light on how terrible hunting is - I would like to announce I will no longer hunt any animals and will donate my spare time to being a volunteer dog walker.

You two are doing all you can with what you have. Thank You!  And it sucks, that you get little enjoyment from the site yourselves, as all you seem to be doing lately is cleaning up the mess. Hopefully Burmjohn will give you the tools you need to get rid of the spammers, once and for all.

Upgrade TF to MOD access. He's on top of things around here often as a member. I would have suggested Biz, but then the SPAM would be porn related as I'm pretty sure he would abuse his power.

One of them faked me out . I banned one jerk and then realized there was another one with a similar name . I hope we get a tool to work with to eliminate this nonsense .
