I am confused why it’s ok for you to small game hunt on the trail and he can’t big game hunt near the trail.  Not the spot I would choose but I see no reason why it’s a scumbag move.

Hate to hijack a thread, but I had some jack wagon small game hunter messing up my bow hunt, the nerve of some hunters...

Perhaps he thought it was a well used and manicured deer trail.  The mother load of all deer trails.  A deer highway.

The only thing for sure on public land is you cannot use live tree's for target shooting.18 years ago I started hunting a piece of state land and my first time was a blast had seen more non hunters than hunters but I didn't care what everyone was doing was just getting a feel for the land the best part is after all these years I know now where it is the best to Hunt.

Back to the original post, I'm curious if there was a vehicle parked nearby. Actually, no I'm not, I don't really care, but I know if I am small game hunting on public land I always assume the vehicles belong to bowhunters and move down the road so as not to screw up their hunt. I can't imagine being pissed at someone else using the area.

Seemed like the absolute worst spot with all that land there the chances  of a deer coming out in bow range in that spot he could get a good shot off is slim to none where he was at I will tell you  that much .  

And have a good time getting drunk tonight crappy  :)
