Your boy Kurt.....he also did the pheasant about 30 - 35 years ago.

Nice! I was gonna guess that. I’ve missed a few reds over the years. But Kurt did 2 grey’s for me on a desert theme from Arizona that came out great.

I thought so too First-light. The taxidermist said that this was a new form that just came out this year.

water rat/ ever see any grey phase grouse there?   My dad and brothers would very infrequently kill one in the WNY area many many years ago

Of the 9 grouse tails that I saved , 6 were the grey phase you mentioned.
