Lunch at Akron Park

I forgot to take my bow to shoot at lunch so I went for a small hike at Akron Park... beautiful day to boot

That place is cool , we have gone there for some picnics . One day we heard what sound like someone snapping a towel over head and it turned out to be people with parachutes on over head.

Me and my idiot friends use to jump of the top of those rocks. I can’t believe non of us got hurt. We would jump off anything. Scariest was jumping about a quarter up off the grand island bridge.

Senior Skip Day circa 1979 was there........yea, i attended.  Actually I wanted to drive the bus but they said NFW.

Anyone ever stop by to see the octagon house north of Akron Park?  Was quite the attraction, years ago.

I drive by it alot.

When I was a sophomore in HS a couple seniors got lost in the caves there for about a day

Fun fact: I went to school near by and we would have senior skip days there. We use to jump off the large falls. Like everyone else I’ve done dumb things as a kid

I have seen kids jumping off the falls there and also at the Log Cabin restaurant.  The water must be pretty deep.  I've never tried the jump
