First-light
So I posted this picture of a sow with three cubs. Now looking at the sow she is pretty big and her cubs are 2 years old and good size. This was taken mid October. I would imagine she kicks those cubs out this year, mates and the cycle starts again? genesee_mohican
Hard to say, but I can't imagine them all fitting in the same den. Great pictures!

Steuben Jerry
Don't they normally get booted in the summer? I've got pics of a pair of cubs with mommy in the spring, and now the cubs show up on cam paired up but by themselves. I also have pics of what I think is mommy, but all alone since June-ish of this year.

They breed in June/July and usually to boar won't tolerate the young being around. They may have just regathered after the breeding or maybe a boar didn't find her while in heat. I doubt she dens with them again if she is bred.
Nytracker
https://bearwithus.org/understanding-bears/the-black-bear-mother-her-cubs/ Interesting information.
Daveboone
The puppies will stay with mom through the winter, but after hibernation Mom will kick them out before she becomes in heat. If she doesnt, there is a good risk of the boars killing them. Mom is nice fall fat, but not particularly big. In early bear season (spring) a couple times I have seen the cubs trying to tail mom, and she is willing to wallop them a fair bit to get the message across.
