Burden24
Hi all, I'm new here, 25 from Geneva in the finger lakes. Avid bowhunter an enjoy shotgun season to although not nearly the same! I have taken some quality deer hunting over the years an even made the paper for a 5 1/2 yr old 220 pounder I took when I was 17 on canandaigua lake with my bow!! Anyways shared a little about me as I see everyone does. I got this picture from my buddy who is a state trooper. I guess this guy was trying a new bow out and the arrow was to short and for some reason he let his fingers loose......you can see the result.! Happened at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn, NY. Ouchhh!!! Doewhacker
I'm not sure that could be self inflicted? Maybe his buddy was mad at him for having the better stand site and had a oopsie on purpose. Or maybe thats what his archery coach did to him for dropping his arm. "I told you, keep your arm up or else!"
phade
I doubt it happened at auburn. This shot has been floating around various forums for a while. Still nasty.
fasteddie
I have also seen that pic some time ago . Some of the pics float around for quite a while . It would be nice to know how that actually happened .
Culvercreek hunt club
I got the same pic in an email yesterday claiming it happened at a Gander Mountain. I don't care if it happened in someones garage...that had to hurt like hell.
StripedBuck
Never saw or heard about that accident, BUT what was he doing with a broadhead on the end of the arrow and not a field tip in a Store no less ?
eagle rider
Good thing he wasn't gun hunting!!!!!!
WNYBuckHunter
Its been posted on here before. Pretty sure I saw it over on AT as well. Doesnt matter where it was taken, its still nasty. If anything, its a good reminder to make sure the arrows are fit for the bow you are shooting them from.
