  1. On January 17, 1991, Allied forces initiated Operation Desert Storm. Under the outstanding leadership of General Norman Schwarzkopf, those forces ultimately drove out the invading Iraqi forces from Kuwait and liberated that occupied nation. One fact that is seldom, if ever mentioned, is the fact that the majority of American military leadership in both the field grade officer and senior non-commissioned officer ranks were Vietnam and Vietnam Era veterans. They are the generation of veterans who were subjected to verbal and physical attacks by cowardly communist appeasing sympathizers. Even some segments of society ostracized this generation of veterans. So given the green light to win this war, they did along with a new generation of brave young Americans who believe in fighting for freedom, not just talking about.

  2. Little while back I picked up a benchmade Osborne 940 folder with s30v steel. I've been impressed so far and got bit by the bug. Also Moog reminded me how much of a PITA folders are to clean after gutting an animal. So now I've got a hunter orange benchmade altitude in s90v steel. Fit and design seems itd be perfect for the task of gutting and/or quartering big game. Screaming sharp out of the box too. Feel I could shave my beard off with it if I was so inclined. 7. Jump the gun a bit. Picked up a new bow before getting rid of some. Primary hunting bow had been thru a lot and killed deer on both public and private land. Still its 8 yrs old and time for an upgrade. Plus no need to shoot a 70lb speed bow. First impressions and draw even on performance setting of this blacked out 60lb Bowtech Realm X is good. We'll see. Trad bows were pulling me in but I'm back to the dark side for now. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Pat wings dry - shake a dozen ish in 1 tablespoon of baking powder, pinch of salt , pinch of black pepper- Spray basket lightly with cooking spray- single layer in basket. 12 minutes at 370, flip em over , 12 more minutes at 370- flip and 5 more at 400. 24. Thanks fir the compliments I’ve never had it anywhere but Otisco but I think It’s better suited for the bigger finger lakes...or Ontario! Trying to free up some extra cash towards buying some land nearby...We will probably buy a small pontoon for our young kids to enjoy after the dust settles on the land deal fingers crossed.

  28. I also think that humanity just can't read or comprehend anything that's longer than a short paragraph anymore. Reading a tweet or a short text message on their cell phones is about all they can handle. The (mostly negative in my opinion) impact that smart phones have had on the human species is mind boggling.

  34. I originally wanted the ATN 4k pro... but all the reviews(which are usually clueless people) were so hit or miss.. i avoided it.. since the wraith is simple and straight forward.. and it works. Have never heard of one failing yet. and im in several predator groups. Ive peeked through a few in stores. and loved em.. but the reviews for the wraith were rock solid.. couldnt pass that up.. i dont have the extra funds.. so it hurt a tad to pay for my wraith.. i cant buy twice, especially if the warranty sucks.

  35. part of baseball has always been cheating - from spitballs to steroids. Sign stealing happens in little league for crying out loud. Just now it was done with technology. I think the hangup is throwing games. Its like taking a fall in boxing (which is the most corrupt of all the sports)

  36. But not for nothing here is why baseball suffers ...self inflicted drawn out pain. Belicheck and Brady cheated on numerous occasions, slap on wrist, play ball! Baseball has this holier than thou attitude and can’t stop punishing themselves. FREE PETE ROSE!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  37. Only when shooting out the door window....or the window opposite of the door. Not wife enough otherwise. This was designed for xbow or gun. Funny story .....I was out with my 3 year old one afternoon after work and we decided to hunt close to home and forego the shack. Well we hunted the shack that weekend and I had a cam mounted to it facing the direction I could shoot my bow out....sure as heck a real nice main frame 8 passed that shooting widow at 4:30 pm at 6 yards. 44. Mowin beat me to it... In theory the bacteria in a deer's stomach would struggle to break down a large amount of new, unfamiliar food (massive pile of corn dropped in the middle of the deep woods). If a resident deer's digestive system is used to standing corn they would not encounter this issue. That being said... we all know how tough deer are. I have trouble believing that a deer capable of being shot and surviving would fall victim to "corn starvation", but hey ya never know.

  46. It's never a competition. I shared just so people could enjoy some pics. I particularly also don't think these pics stand out compared to most everyone in the geographical area. Every once in a while a buck gets some age on him and the rest are all pretty typical 2/3/4/5 yo references that most anyone has roaming their woods. The only difference is I have more cams than most people run and thus more images. That's it. Nothing special.

  47. You guys made me curious enough to dig out old photo albums that i knew had pictures of my dad shooting and with deer. I found all the guns in my cabinet in the pictures. My favorite was a picture of my dad shooting a woodchuck with my/his .22 mag Mossberg Chuckster from 42 years ago. It's funny, I can easily tell where I learned my offhand shooting form just setting a new picture of me next to old pictures of him. It is almost identical.
