I have zero experience with gun broker, but I'd say wait another day and shoot him an email about a possible update. For all we know he's on a hunting or fishing trip right now where he has no access to email. Hopefully all works out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Id probably hold out for the 10, but if the 8 really tickled my fancy, then id probably take him if he gets with in range.

Very interesting. They ended up buying cabelas for more than bass pro shop is worth themselves. A bass pro is supposed to open up near me...hope this doesn't change anything.

Glad you are ok grampy! Your friend sounds like a true friend. This is a valuable lesson for everyone...always have some type of device to contact someone or emergency services when you are out there. Again glad your okay and surrounded by family and friends.

I've done it before, but only got close enough one time. My father didn't know there was a deer there so he came up walking and ended up spooking the deer. There was one other time i was able to get with in 10 yards of a small but, but it wasn't a deer i wanted to take.

Looks like you had a great opener! If im willing to shoot that deer mid November ill take it first day of the season. Looks like you'll be having a good season. -
I remember watching tests done on the difference and the cow moose fell right on the divers seat almost every time.

It'll be crowded the first few hundred yards but that's it to be honest. After that its not all that bad. I actually want to try it again this year.

as long as your not hunting before sunrise your good to go in any time as far as I know.

You'll see eventually that there are not many places to go on LI that someone doesn't already hunt. Just the nature of LI hunting. Good thing is there is more than enough deer around.

Spot doesn't belong to him. If he was there first id let it be, but if not id say get in really early and let him bump the deer to you.
