The farm does a lot of no till beans , I plan to kill some deer in them each year .

Give it to Wolc123 ,he can put it six feet up in a tree, and hunt out of it . i sold this for $1700, with life jackets , skis ,tube, spare prop, flares ,tools ,anchor , bumpers . The guy’s used it multiple times ,with zero issues .

They were taken in three different parts of the state …. haha , 1,3 were shot 50 yards or so apart from two different ladders a couple years apart ,#2 was oh 100 yards off from both from a LW hang on . The six Pt on the end was a good 150 yards away from them and the one and only deer I killed with Rage BH, poor performance ( I’m a cut on contract guy ) I sent the remaining ones to I think Larry in Buffalo , odd since I Iike him .

Bow Hunter since ‘88 I think . I admit prior to the season I wash all my camo in scent free soap, but as the season goes on , I’m not sure I wash the outer layers again . Base layers get tossed in with the normal wash as needed . I drive down and back in my camo , drinking coffee and eating a PBJ . Ive enclosed a picture of how I store my camo , along with some bow bucks . Many years back I used all the “ scent free “ stuff, changed at my land ,used totes all that ,then a guy I consider one of the best bow hunters I know gave me a box of those products . I asked why, he said it was given to him and he doesn’t use any of that “ stuff…” So I basically stopped . It’s so much simpler and enjoyable. I used to get mildly upset if my buddy drank coffee in route or stopped for gas lol .

Not much of a scouter , ok zero . But yesterday I went to my range , put up targets ,then took a knee to load mags , a VERY wide buck came out from behind targets and feeded in the beans 40 yards away . I just started shooting, with zero concerns . 30 some years on the same ground , I know which stands pay off with enough seat time . Also the best “ scouting “ is what you learn during the season .

When I used hang ons ,they went up just prior to season and came down right after . Cables were oiled , and stands tested by me jumping on them at three feet prior to going back up . Double straps . No way was I gunna let Mrs Nomad inherit millions .

Just got a little more gun food, for my 9s .

Sure , got several hundred acres of beans , and several hundred of corn in . A few hundred more of a Timothy , clover and the like . Well not me , the farmer, that’s even better . I actually collect rent from him planting it !

Shot my 300 Blackout today , funny part was as I was kneeing loading mags a really wide buck stepped into the beans 40 yards from me . A bit low but I’m ok with this , the red dot is real nice , my back up iron sights are a bit hard to see . Next time I’ll shoot through the sight without the dot on, see what just centering the target does .

Every year this object appears , the local deer know , a Godlike , Hunter , Warrior will soon follow as soon as the Fall moon raises , and smell of Irish Spring permeates the woods . To appease this Great Hunter , they’ll leave bits of bones , feathers and other sacred objects of the woods, at its base , in hopes that they’ll not be this year’s sacrifice .

I have a working knowledge of retail fuel dispensers(like 25 years worth). The amount left in the hose and internal plumbing of the unit should not effect the ethanol content of the fuel you are dispensing into your vehicle/boat/snowmobile/motorcycle. The only time it might have an effect is if you are dispensing a very small amount into like an auger or something that has a very small gas tank. And Dave you are correct, no dispensed fuel is 100% what is advertised on the dispenser. There are just to many variables, pipelines, delivery vehicles etc. The fuel has to meet certain parameters but is never 100%. The fuel you get at any retail fueling outfit even has trace amounts of water in it (gasp). The Dept. of Commerce also lab tests the fuel at most sites for octane rating and ethanol content fairly regularly. i coped the above from elsewhere . But I have also worked for a mechanical contractor that worked just for the oil companies, from running pipelines to building gas stations . There are so many variables from start to end user , like all Gas coming up,here in one pipeline , oil companies rent space in it and air blocks keep things “ separate “nothing you buy is 100% what you think it is . Those three octane choices on dispenser? There’s only two , the middle one , the dispenser blends from the other two . Nothing in the system is exact , and not enough to matter . Time to,go shoot a few hundred rounds !
