Paula, I have been getting eggs like that for almost a week.Hard boiling them and giving them to the dogs, they love them.

There was an article in one of the pred. hunting mags. latest issue that said it is Not a good idea ti find an area you like and go in and do your trimming a week or so ahead of your hunt. Do it well in advance.

Who wants Yearling Buck Protection with ARs in their area?
Gthphtm replied to Meat Hunter's topic in Deer Hunting
I like the idea and it should be for all deer not just bucks,I have yet to see a mature doe in my area in the last 3 years.Area 4.Every thing was 2 years or younger. The DEC said the were going to limit the amount of doe permits this past season,They should have not given any out.Other then for the youth hunt. You can get your doe in archery or MZ. season. If your a meat hunter. They should stiffen the fines on Jacking deer, there is still a lot of that going on too.- 320 replies

The first time I put my mixture on the plants and saw the chew a little that is what they did also.
-
An egg or two,hot red pepper, garlic, onion, mixed together also works.I have been spreading it around my plants every year, they eat it once and do not come back.Coyote pee just attracts the Yotes by me.
-
I have made my own and also used lumenocks for one season and they have been in a closet for 5 years.

Mmmm,Nothing like crock pot venison.Talking to my brotherinlaw the other day he hunted most of rifle season and got nada ,his friends got three and to date have not offered him any meat,he is dying to have some of his crock pot venison.

Funny,I worked in a Lab.Every type of testing you can think of on every type of material used in the aircraft industry and support products. Also ran all of the above machines and more also CNC when the company updated.I did my own programing also.

You better buy a roll of chicken wire to put around them or the will be gone.

I have shot thousands of rounds in 30-06 threw the years,Did my own reloading,165 grain was my choice,if you are not getting 5 bullets inside a quarter in 100 yards,1st. you are flinching,2nd.your trigger pull stinks ( too heavy or not smooth) Most factory triggers are set too tight.Try to use factory ammo made close to each other as don't buy 1 or 2 boxes in store A this year and a different store B next year.Buy 5 boxes from the same store at the same time.If stored right it does not go bad.

Ruger M77 Standard in .270 caliber.Wood stock,a little heaver then the one Doc bought ( less kick or recoil ).It's been around forever. If you want to go up a little more in price Sako. I would stay away from anything that has a Clip right now. With all of the BS going on.
-
Sold my 17 caliber and bought a 22 mag. also for just that reason.

Doc, after replacing the control boards 2 times and repairing the cameras internals also, they went to the transfer station. nyslowhand is right about the price of the home brew (better ones). I am thinking of the Bushnell trophy cam,Just shopping around now. paula, I think they recommend the recharagable batteries, which I have the chargers for now. Cam has to wait, need to get a new 12 volt AGM battery today, to start the snowblower and the sled, there talking anywhere from 10" to 18" of snow here.

Start stocking up on lime or find out from the local food and grain supply if the sell in bulk and if the spread it also, your going to need a good amount if non haze been put down before.
-
The last of my home brew cameras died. The last 2 weeks I changed cards and batteries and no pictures.I guess I cannot complain they have been out side all year for the last 7 years.Looking for at least 1 new one,I notice there are quite a few on sale now, looking for something in the $150.00 price range. Some thing easy to swap memory cards and take good daytime and night pictures, really do not need Video. What has been holding up good this pas hunting season or longer.
-
I would say it is would not go over with the DEC,they might consider it feeding them, the same as putting out corn or corn, oats and that as a mixture, that they sell in the grain stores.

45 cal. Ruger, the next few days are going to be nice in the mid to high 30's.

You must be a young fellow that has not witnessed a real winter that we had in the past as( multiple feet of snow and weeks of below 0 degrees weather). and the deer have lived threw them.
-
Google them, just about any online nursery sells them, also check your local soil/ water conservation group. Here in Delaware county we have one that has them on sale every year + other plants, trees and shrubs.

Some times 8:00 am,or 9:00 am or 10:00 am.Have breakfast, feed the animals, turn on the computer an see what's new.Watch the deer coming from the neighbors property, stop and eat some grass and make there way up the hill. Then I go out.Come back and have some lunch,do some chores and go back out until 3:30 and head back in. Don't think that I sleep late.I am up at 5:00 - 5:30 in the morning.I only hunt my property and I know where the deer are during the day. When they come and when they leave. Not worth shooting after 3:30 anyway,If it's a bad shot, that night the yotes will get it.

Where I live the Fox have just about killed everything thy could,on my property the were having 3 to 7 young ones a year.No rabbits,no grouse,no turkeys, and in one year the must have killed over 30 of our neighbors chickens.Thank's to a local trapper most of them are gone + the ones that were shot.Only a few left and the also have the mange. Blast em growalot.
-
No you can not at night. You would have to call the police,an dec officer and last someone from Deer Search who would also have to notify the State Police and the get the landowners written permission if it was not your property. To dispatch it.
