For anyone who wants soybeans that's in Warren, Saratoga, Washington, or Rensselaer counties. Contact me through here or otherwise contact Dave Collins at [email protected] no later than Jan 21st. Similar guidelines apply.

That's what I get for posting at work. Much more believable. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

i've really only used ground meat so it's not marinaded.

nether will drop it in its tracks stone dead without a hit to central nervous system especially if it's coming at you. if you're using that type of pistol cartridge then anything other than something nonexpanding is designed shed energy and penetrate within the standard distance of 15". grizz had it figured out. 45acp with fmj or something that doesn't expand easily.

would he be more pissed if he had a 45, flinched, and missed? lol i'd want lots of rounds and something i can put a bullet were it's going if that's a 45 even better.

i agree more often than not cover is king.

on another note 10.5 yrs old is crazy old for a buck. i'm in no position to say it wasn't that old. it could be. i really don't trust the aging skills of some DEC folks though, especially the ones that stick their finger in the mouth and not even look.

i'd be happy just seeing a booner. don't even need to shoot it, despite i'd try to like hell.
-
not much of a point other than neat mementos to pass on. i like their tape measure. i can think of lots of bucks out this way that were 4.5 or 5.5 that didn't come close to booner inches or 200lbs dressed. not many reaching full maturity but still it's a very unrealistic goal for some places where whitetails roam.

better late than never.

initial impressions were good. well thought out design. neck, auger, plates, and locking end wheel not as heavy and well built as a Hobart the same size. still seemed sufficient though without almost twice the weight (Hobart's a heavy SOB). it being the time of year it is i'll pick up some beef on sale probably to run it and make sure it's all working before i really need it.
-
still relevant talking "fist sized chunks of meat". that said i gave my input. best of luck with the thread now. don't let me know how you make out.
-
found one in a dark brown beer bottle. thankfully the beer was drank long before the mouse show up.
-
crafty. i should probably do something like that. i've got a good number of arrows between all my bow setups.
-
nice job. not over boiled at all.

Sloop Simcoe Bomb - double dry hopped. Plenty of aroma then you get slammed with simcoe with citrus rolling right into the dry hop flavor and bitterness. Then it fades fast to a smooth hardly at all bitter finish. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

never heard of them. i tend to look for Sauktrail, bruin, and widows. they all hold their value though so i never seem to find much. always see the same make and models on the net for sale. still clearing out the basement to get a nice lane. shelving probably going up to help that this weekend.

How to maintain and store your bow/xbow strings...?
dbHunterNY replied to JRod 8G8H's topic in Bow Hunting
no different than the rest of the year. keep it dry from the weather and what not. Q-tip and cotton cloth with rust preventing gun products on it all. don't worry as much about the riser as the rest of it, especially hardware. string always has a thin coat of good wax like bcy x-wax. -
never seen a mock charge where the other buck doesn't budge either. pretty cool.

don't feel comfortable being forth coming to an officer at a traffic stop that you have a kevin concealed in your pants? lol

Can't put a price on being a real life Marvel Winter Soldier. i bet it comes with the chrome armor exterior too.
-
i'd bet after they'd burn it for heat though.
-
happy birthday!

only thing i'll add is that despite the presence of corn or hay, deer will still transition to eating a lot of woody browse also and not just stick to just corn or hay.

in practicality you can grind just as fast with a fractional horsepower grinder with a decent neck. #22 is big that's like what we have at the farm with the old fractional HP Hobart. I just got the 3/4HP Cabelas one that Larry has with #12 neck. unless you have a person cutting and loading the tray with another one feeding it you're not saving much time at all. it helps you save time is the way you cut the meat for the grind pile when trimming and deboning. with a decent grinder you cut it into strips and it'll just eat. as fast as you feed it.
