I don't think I've ever washed my outer layers. I might have washed a pair of pants off with a hose, but that would be it. I keep everything in the garage (along with 2 cars) during the season and in the basement in the off season. Inside layers get a regular wash, but hardly ever during the season, just once after it ends, and maybe once during the season if I know they have been sweated in out had some other contamination. I do select where I sit based on wind direction and have several tree stands to choose from, so I am conscious of scent and how it may help or hurt my hunting. Maybe I will try to be a little more concerned with odor control on my outer layers.

I don't know if Commanders Palace still does it, but during a Final Four many years ago, they had a 25 cent Martini luncheon special. One of the best meals and afternoons of my life! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Not dinner, but dessert! Figs off my fig tree, first good picking this year. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I think Silver Queen is an all white corn, those look like Butter and Sugar, or one of the many variations of it. Either way, looks tasty! Sweet corn has been terrific this year, even if all of the other crops are late or suffering. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'm later than usual for checking cameras, but I am off to a good start. There are three or four bucks that I am able to identify and track through the property. Unfortunately, also too many pictures of coyotes, including one that I think is a pup. Looks like he lost one side early on, velvet is covering the stump. Coyote pup? One of several. I saw a nice red one the other day, yipping and barking mid day in the middle of the field. Four in one shot, all younger boys. These two are together a lot, for now... Nice rack, my deer. I actually like the dark ops shot here, looks cool. Closer look.

I've heard that the restaurants at the new Del Lago casino are very good. Looking forward to trying it soon.

We went a few years ago when my daughter marched in the parade with her high school band. It was a lot of fun and it would be okay to do it again. It is crowded, but not really too bad if you just take your time and arrive early. We were up on 60th Street or so and had great views of everything happening. If you have never been to NYC you definitely should go. Just the museums are worth the trip. And Berretta has a really nice store there too!

Sad fact, he owns 50% of the Dinosaur BBQ chain. -

We went salmon fishing out of Port Ontario Pulaski yesterday and had a great day on the water. Boated 11 fish all together, with about 6 strikes that we missed out on. Pictured are 8 of the largest fish, but all fish were processed and are in the freezer. Looking forward to smoking one of those giant filets soon! -

I'm a lefty, but have never shot a bow. Would this be a good bow for a novice? -
We do the same, except we leave out the onions and roasted peppers. And we start out trying them as patties, not as balls to flatten later. ( But that probably does not matter much) I also like to slice them about 3/8" thicker and dip them in egg wash, then flour with salt and pepper, then lightly fried. A sprinkle of cheese on top is nice too. They actually taste better at room temp or cooled, so it is easy to make well in advance and just be ready to serve anytime. And as a sandwich, they are even better! I also don't like using any zucchini over 8 or 10", anything larger is compost in my opinion. The plants are so prolific, there is no need to use anything not at its peak for taste.

Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges....Both movies were great adaptations. RIP Glen, I just watched him play Classical Gas on YouTube the other night. Incredible guitarist.

Maybe not for 7M, but just before the season starts the Dec releases more doe permits as needed. Not a bad idea to check in just before opener. Some guys will trade permits for zones too. Post it here. You never know!

I did exactly that and did receive both. The Salina Town Clerk told me to do it that way a couple of years ago and it has worked each time.

Lynyard Skynard always. Several others often, but Skynard is always "Turn it up". -
Although I read this thread almost every day, I rarely post. But tonight's dinner was so good, I wanted to share. Venison Shis-K-Bobs marinated in soy, worchester, sesame oil and a dash of Frank's Hot Sauce. Sides of grilled peppers, onions, zucchini and tomatoes. The yellow ones are actually a new variety of "yellow zucchini" called Goldbar.

I have use 100% clear silicone with good success. I am not sure what type of sealant 4200 is.
