I have a nice sized tree in a large pot, 2 people can move it pretty easily. It does need almost daily watering. In the winter, we store it in the garage where it won't freeze. Right now, it has about 75 figs on it, maybe 2 weeks away from being ripe.

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery. Lupus is tough, my sister and brother both have it.

I was at the Cicero store this afternoon. Not much that I needed, bought some handgun ammo with the 30% discount, it brought it into a decent price. The shotgun ammo was still way too high to be any sort of bargain. Lots of items not marked with a price either so I had no idea if it was a deal or not. Most of the ice fishing stuff was 60% off, but I have way more than I need already. If someone was just starting out, it would be a good deal for them. Lots of odd ball items that I think the liquidator brought in to sell, like automotive stuff and decor items that Gander didn't normally carry. Don't need to go back for anything. I would have bought n extra Treestand or pop up blind, but there were none there. Hopefully it reopens, if not Bass Pro is not too far, Runnings close also. Amazon is becoming more and more my go to, but I like to actually see some items before I buy them.

I went salmon fishing out of Pulaski a couple of years ago and had a great day. I heard the salmon and Coho bite was really good right now. Would anyone like to split the cost of a charter? We used Dan's River and Guide Service, but am open to other Charters too. PM me with any interest. Salmon Fishing0001.pdf -
I rely on Hank Shaw on all things related to cooking wild game. http://honest-food.net/venison-stock/ My friend made a bunch last year and I've used it as a base for soup, worked out great.

Looks like a side planer.....It pulls your lure away from the boat and out over deeper (or shallower if you want) water and away from boat and motor noise. -
I bought one last year at 56 years old.

I did enter a dog trial there one time, I was on foot, all the other handlers were on horseback. I don't mind the dog events and trials, I wish they would keep out the joggers and bicyclists. I have not been there in a few years, but it's a great place to let the dog run. I do want to scout it for duck hunting too.

I've never had any damage to rhubarb leaves, but it has been a wet spring.....Even so, you just use the stalk so it shouldn't matter much. If you need roots, I have a lot of them. Central NY.

Where are these last set of pictures? Are you back in southern Italy? -
I would go there often with my Brittany for "training". Mostly just trying to keep him in range and under my command. I liked the area off 60 Rd because it was all open and I could keep my eyes on him. I had several run-ins with joggers, bikers, and even some horses, but overall had the place to myself most of the time. I actually was "kicked out" when a dog trial was going on, saying the reserved it and I had to leave. I have never duck hunted the marshes, but I understand it is quite good.

It's a good suggestion to ask the bartender for a small sample, I do that often. They will usually ask what you have liked in the past and make suggestions from there. You can also get single bottles of beer at Wegmans and create your own six pack. Or post what you like here on this thread, I'm sure lots of people will give you suggestions.

It's been a couple of years, but I've been able to find lead weights in Pennsylvania (at Gander Mt). I stocked up pretty good a couple of years ago, but that may be an option if you really want lead.

All the pictures are beautiful, I love the doors and gates. I took dozens of that picture too. It seems they place extra attention and design into the entrance. -
That's good to hear, I've never seen it before. I've only seen or heard of about a third of the beer mentioned on this thread, but I am relatively new to the craft beer world.

Helmet in the bush, I got some of that Flying Monkey IPA on my last trip to Ontario. I liked it so much I stopped again on my return trip for and extra inventory.

There must be a Farmer's Market nearby somewhere..... Wegmans does have excellent produce, but I usually find cheaper and fresher produce at the Regional Market. It helps the local farmers too, putting the money directly in their hands rather than thru a third source. I have a small garden, Rhubarb and garlic in one patch, asparagus going in there soon too. I also have quite a few herbs in containers , nothing better than fresh herbs for cooking. I also have four huge sweet cherry trees, a sour cherry tree, four different apples, peaches, pears, and an apricot tree. Plenty of fruit for the birds and us too.

I found my first morel today, but it looked pretty sad, so I left it. My buddy, who was hunting on another patch of woods, found a hatful. I also found a lot of ramps, but they too looked past prime.
-
Only my third time in the woods this season, but I hope to make it out at least three more times. Actually, even less would be nice! No gobbles at all today, just a lonely hen in the field for a bit. I was moving to another spot and busted a hen off her nest 6 feet from me, scared the crap out of me! First time I have run across a nesting hen.

Wow, true dedication and great story telling too. Congratulations!

Add mine too. Just being there for your cousin's and family means a lot.

I've cut down lots of trees. Each one is different. I had some close to the house that I was nervous about. Tree guy took it out for $200, cleared all the debris too. Sometimes it pays to hire a pro.
-
Wow, nice pic anyways!

Nice bird Treeguy! I had no action while sitting in the blind, very windy for two hours. Decided to walk a little, I scratched my call at the beginning of the trail and got an immediate gobble! Moved to hunker down at the nearest tree and saw the bird out of the corner of my eye run away. Very disappointing, I should known better and only called when I was in position.
