The wife and I drove up whiteface mountain a couple years ago and was scared...not a breath of wind and I was terrified. Can't imagine being that high up with wind like that.
Just the basics: Knife, rope, limb clippers, break-down saw, Water bottle, drag rope, 2-way radio to keep in touch with hunting partners, small first aid kit, matches and tinder, bio degradable tracking tape, gloves, hat....stuff like that.
Skaneateles lake would be perfect for the refugee children to go to live and learn how to swim and water ski from the residents and get away from inner city Syracuse. Perfect.
Seems logical to me to get the repair done by a reliable gunsmith, as opposed to shipping the rifle to parts unknown, then tap your foot waiting for months on end before the item is returned hopefully in one piece.
looking forward to the season, but golf is still enjoyable right now. No rush for me, just enjoying the sunshine....wait a minute...did I say "sunshine?..oh yes, the liquid variety.
I do not smoke, but the E-Cig seems like quite an innovation. Is there only a vapor when smoking? If so, maybe the bars will rebound with customers wanting to drag on an E-Cig while watching a ball game on the bar TV, instead of freezing outside on the porch smoking.
It's a free country and we can do what we choose to do with our money....or at least I thought we could. Lawfully purchased hunting trip. Libs have got to get a life.
Early 90's, traveling on Centerville rd., Allegany county at night, during rut. Darn doe runs out to "greet" me and my SUV, runs parallel with me for a few seconds, then runs into the right rear of vehicle. Lucky that was the course the doe took, as opposed to a head on collision. Only encounter, to date...wanna keep it that way.
Tough decision for your daughter to make. If it were me, I would keep her playing locally with her friends, then when high school hits( and I'm assuming she isn't in high school yet) let her play at that level and see where it goes.
Seems like soccer is endless with practices in summer. Kids may want to try something else...but that's just me.
