    Our club annually stocks our pond with trout, but the ice may be a "little" late in receding, plus the water temps will be too cold for the trout. Maybe early May for stocking.

    Just make it mandatory to wear school uniforms...In catholic school, i wore dress pants, sport coat, dress shirt and tie every day in high school...ok..ok , the girls wearing their school uniforms got away with skirts above the knee a little, but not too much....better than the crap worn by the kids nowadays. Especially the tights or pants girls wear with the stuff written on the bottoms...what's up with that? World is nuts.

    I checked the club camp a couple weeks ago and the snow pack was about 15 inches and the gate choked with plowed up snow and ice. Now with another significant dose of snow in 9H today, we will not be getting into camp for quite a spell. This will delay our annual trout pond stocking also. I may as well have a glass of wine later on and stare out the picture window....golf clubs getting itchy to hit some balls..

    I saw approximately 80 deer along a 7 mile stretch of road between Humphrey and Great valley yesterday afternoon. Saw several hundred skiers at Holiday Valley also .

    This corrupt government will do anything to pay for this "Obama car wreck" crepe. I can see the Chinese and Russians laughing at us every day at the ineptness of this administration. I better load up on ammo in PA and hunker down.

    I can see good and bad in the TV coverage of Buffalo creek flooding a neighborhood. The good is it gets the attention of local leadership in trying to correct the situation, but on the other hand, the neighbors affected by the flooding will find selling their properties at a good price more difficult due to the TV publicity. Of course, buying next to a river or creek prone to flooding must have crossed the minds of those who bought in the neighborhood in the first place. Maybe Osama...I mean Obama will save them.

    memory of watching the sun set over the trees and experiencing the calm over the meadow and the chill in the air after another successful afternoon of bow hunting deer....sometimes I would just wait until dark before walking out just to soak in the calmness of the moment...no worries about the problems of the world....just the calmness ...nice memory.

    The guys I hunt with have noticed a significant drop in turkey sightings over the last 4 years since the erection of the wind turbines in an area of Wyoming county where we hunt. We are wondering if the motion of the blades has scared off our flocks. Also, the area where the turkeys would normally roost were wiped out with the clearing of some adjacent property for one of the pinwheels..

    Had 2 Screaming eagles. Used them for about 15 years until they started to rust out inside the framing. Now I'm not as interested in hang on stands due to age and now use ladder stands...now if the deer would co-operate...

    I liked what I saw in the east Otto/Otto areas when I worked Catt county. Lots of area for wildlife to prosper.

    In Buffalo, One weatherperson uses the term "Muggies" for humidity, and the other is "mixed bag" ...and another is "changeable conditions"...what does that mean?...I do miss the weather girl that transferred to Maryland though...kinda perdy....
