Rescue and shelter dogs are the way to go. Far too many dogs that need good homes. I could never go to one of those puppy mill places. Here are my two babies. I’m sure I’ve posted before but I love my dogs.

I didn’t harvest anything this year and I’m ok with that. I seen more deer this year than in the last 10 years or so. I had chances but things went wrong or I just decided not to shoot and just watch.I really enjoy just being in the outdoors watching nature and laughing with the guys at the cabin. I also had a lot of first this year. Like having a 5 deer lay 5 yards from me for over an hour while I was sitting on the ground. Talk about being sore from not being able to move. I can’t wait to see what next year brings. Enjoy the off season boys and girls. Looking forward to doing some coyote hunting soon. Merry Christmas and happy New Years!

Deer do not just stay in one place so you could not harvest any on your property and like me my land borders state land plus my neighbors will take whatever they want. Between the 4 of us that hunt my property we did not take one deer off of my property. But one shot a doe on state land about 100 yards off of my property line. Take what is acceptable to your wants and needs. Personally I don’t see the deer population in my area of 9m very high. Therefore I haven’t shot a doe in 3 years. But to each is own.

That is what I am hoping for is to have a great rivalry like Kelly and Marino. RG and RT has been a mess for years. Hoping we can get a couple solid picks to fill those holes.
