  1. I bought my PSE at AJ's, and the x-weaves cut & set up there. Seemed like square business to me.
  2. It occurs to me allot of states that allow feeders also have wild boar issues & crop damage. If people were flat out allowed to use feeders how many would actually bother to use the right supplement for cold weather metabolism? Not many I suspect since you can walk into a walmart or gander and buy the equipment, and sometimes the dry bags to fill them. You know, right next to the molasses & gallon jug attractants - right near the little sign that says it's all illegal. If your at gander, try not to trip over the pallet of salt blocks.
  3. why stop there, we could have hillary shave his testicals and drop him in a tub full off 1000 laboratory leaches
  4. Except for media outlets using this as another opportunity for advertising space I don't see what the big deal is.
  5. Toasted a bunch of chucks with the 40gr-x. As far as wind & rimfires go, I would rarely if ever use one past 70 yards anyways, and I'll leave it at that.
  6. fyi: NY to suspend 7-round magazine limit (armsandthelaw.com link) The Senate Majority Leader says he’ll append a suspension to a budget bill. Comments indicate this does not suspend the 7 round limit, but suspends the 10-round magazine limit due to manufacturers.
  7. J Carrey is just another hollywood douchbag. if memory serves he also trolled for obama.
  8. I'm getting ads with Flo from Progressive, she took make up lessons from Tammy Fay, funny because I went with USAA And ads from EA games. Funny to because I don't buy EA/Origin drm coated software. Maybe they're just trying to torment me because I . edit to add; was shopping for 4pin to 5/7 blade tow adapters now its ads from etrailer.
  9. And here I was all excited about being down to a foot of snow on my plots
  10. I have an area that gets good sun, plenty of room for about 1/2 dozen trees. The problem is, I think, it is low ground and gets very wet. Not like a swamp & you can get in there with good boots, but there are cat-tails present.
  11. Chewing on a project or two and found some links for parts I thought others might find useful. http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/index.php & http://www.dyersonline.com
  12. Anybody else get in some winter camping?
  13. There will be a Bow that shoots faster than the speed of sound.
  14. A bit of venison jerky & coffee. Sometimes a pear / plum / peach. Something quiet. On the other side of quiet, some of you all might need some pepto back at camp
  15. The outfit I lease from is Limestone Ridge Properties, right now everything seems taken but check back before next Fall season.
  16. One of the best reasons I like mouth calls is they don't need the motion like hand calls. But a close second is the box call, nothing like it for the volume & locating. Slates are ok, I mean I like to use one at times but have a bad habit of loosing strikers.
  17. As an alternate - check out the review I did on the .
  18. I'm quite envious. Your wgi cam is working.
  19. Who takes a show shovel camping with them? This guy does.
  20. Mixing Tub @ tractor supply (large) it has two bolt holes on each end - get two eyelet bolts a little rope and a shoulder strap/waist deer drag and you can tow this thing with snowshoes. It's what I use to get to camp in the winter, after a 2 mile hike on a seasonal dirt road. Once you off the main trail and into deeper light snow you have to side step to your camp or the weight will be an issue. If your talking about only a few 2-3 inches of snow just use a game cart. Now, getting all that crap to where you want to be is going to make you sweat, allot. If you need to expend more energy establishing shelter make sure you have a dry set of clothes/gear packed and ready. Hypothermia can be bad news.
  21. Few trees down from high winds over the winter - plenty of work for after spring Turkey of course. Fixing up a few low-mud spots on the main trail to get to them is first on the list.
  22. As growalot said it's going to depend on your area. I like to start work toward the end of Spring Turkey if it's just some clearing - reseeding etc. Last years clover plot came back in force and the game cams said the deer liked that. For any noise - tiller/chainsaw work I tend to wait untill June.
